When checking out the new features the ' Learn More' link under Tab Groups directs to the article explaining Pinned Tabs, there is no way to get to the explanation about Tab Groups

Firefox quit opening a new tab when I open a new tab. This overwrites the page I was on. I have to open the history to try and find where I was. This is very frustrating and a waste of time. It stated recently.

Before the last update, I’m using version 157.0 now, it was possible to simply move a complete Firefox tab using drag-and-drop. I frequently used this feature in a multi-monitor setup. While it is still possible via a right-click and the "Move Tab" option, that takes more effort than simply clicking and dragging.

Is that just switched off and hidden in some options, and really no longer possible?

I am working with Firefox version 150 and have checked tab notes in the settings box but the feature is not available. Right clicking on the tab provides a drop down menu including tab notes as being new but it is grayed out. the release notes indicate it was supposed to be available through the labs in March but now it is the last week of April and it is not available.

Has anyone found possibly a fix in about config section to fix the bug where Firefox doesn't load titles correctly in tabs? Before it wasn't so bad when tablets didn't have tab bar. Now that tables do have this feature, it would be great to fix this long standing issue. Using Firefox can be an eyesore sometimes seeing this on almost half or more of my tabs.

It’s not every link… sometimes it feels like it just turns on suddenly which will get me by surprise because it’ll open past the tab i have open so you cant see it. Until i go up to my tabs and scroll over. The number of tabs i have open just says infinity. I am using iOS ipad version. i just looked in setting and couldn’t find anything that was open a new tab every link. I know this must be some setting somewhere but when you have over 600 tabs open and I attempt to close some of them its driving me insane…

The settings i changed ranged from privacy to personalization, i tried to reverse some of them to see if that would help and did a bunch of back and forth, but it's still not coming back. (Im trying to leave chrome because i noticed it had some very concerning lack of privacy settings that messed with my phone's ability to function properly if i turned them off. And Edge is worse.) Firefox seems better, but without the group tabs option it makes it waaaay too ridiculous to try and do any real work with it. I do a lot of multitasking and research and need to be able to bounce around and organize stuff. Your help stuff on tab groups doesnt say anything about how to turn it on or off. So... how do i get it back?

I have experience with chrome as i used to close the window then open i have my last session all the tabs occuring but in firefox im unable to do that even in settings of startup i have selected to open my previous tabs and windows but nothing opens just a blank screen also i cannot open recently closed tabs by command + shift+ T kindly help it is very annoying as i lose my presvous sessions again and again. In previous versions of firefox for ipad, a blue notification was shown temporarily at the bottom of the screen when a tab was closed, allowing to tab This was really helpful, as it happens quite frequently, that I hit the close icon accidentally when switching tabs. Any chance this feature can be enabled again? Thanks

Trying to get stuff done. It's hard when you start a task in one tab ,switch to another tab to start another task, and when I switch back to the first tab, it hadn't completed the task, it actually paused when I left it. What's the point of multiple tabs, when only one is working at a time? I expect it to continue with the task, while I go elsewhere to complete a different task.

7/7/2026 Last night Firefox on my laptop performed an automatic update to the latest Firefox version. The new Firefox has a very bad setting in about;config .. this new Firefox can only show 1 tab ... it is opening up a new tab on top of the first tab, making it impossible to have more than 1 tab ..

This is going cause problems for thousands of Firefox users .. . how I fix this problem ... I tried setting the add tab settings into about;config to add a new tab to the right of the current tab, but my change made no difference ... how can I fix this problem ... does Firefox have a plan on how to fix for this problem for thousands of Firefox users.. this problem will impact thousands of Firefox users..

If firefox is closed and i click on a link in an email, 2 windows open. one blank and the other with my linked page. I can't find anything in the settings to change this. Before it did a similar thing but it was opening 2 tabs in a single window. One blank and one with my requested link. I recall chaning something that got rid of the 2 tabs opening but don't recall what and can't find anything. Apparently that change changed it from opening a 2nd tab blank, to opening a 2nd window blank.

I'm really enjoying tab groups, but there's a feature that seems broken. After restarting my browser, I'd like to reuse the groups I've previously created. It appears you've added a menu option for that: "Add Tab to Group" -> "Closed Group" Unfortunately, selecting that just closes the selected tab, rendering those closed groups permanently closed. I can go ahead and add my tab to a new group with the same name, but that creates a duplicate item under the "Closed Group" menu. After using the feature for a bit, I know how quite a long list of duplicate items under a totally useless "Close Group" submenu.
