I have a firefox account for many years. my email provider went bankrupt, and I have no longer access to my emails. now I did reinstall firefox on my computer, and wanted to migrate my longterm account. I was able to log in successfully, but there was also an email sent to the bankrupt provider. email is returning immediately, and my account is now blocked. How do I get into my account?

I am having to download Foxfire Developer Edition for a course that I am taking, but I am unable to figure out to go this. There is not enough information on the internet to get this done. I have watched videos on YouTube, but they are not helpful. I am new to this and would like some guidance in the matter. I've been using 128.11.1esr. I just tried Release again, 139.0.2. It wakes up with none of my profile settings. No accounts, no email. Just looks like an initial empty launch. I'm switching back.

Should I be doing anything other than just downloading and launching the new version? Or is the Release version really this bad?

how do i completely stop updates? or at least until i restart the browser, not the browser making me restart it. i have it set to "Check for updates but let you choose to install them", but its not really a choice if im forced to press the button to continue browsing...

it happens twice a day that firefox prevents me browsing and makes me wait 30 seconds for it to update after clicking the "restart firefox and update" button. very frustrating.
