I have one website that gives me a "Secure Connection Failed" If I click on the icon in the left address bar on mybrowser, I am given an option to "Clear cookies and site data" I click that and then appears a blue button at top that says "Clear" Now when I do a refresh of the tab, everything loads fine. This is Newsmax.com I read the news there. IS there a way to into Firefox settings and make an exception to https"//newsmax.com and make it so I don't have to keep clicking "Clear Site Data and Cookies" ? Thanks!

I couldn't log into a site and it was suggested to 'clear cache' as follows: - settings - privacy and security - cookies and site data - clear browsing data BUT only cookies and temp cache sites. By mistake I believe I ticked browsing and download history too, and looks as though it is irrersible? Now I no longer automatically get all the little boxes I used to get for usual regular log ins (eg The Times, Meteo, banks, email etc) I think I can use 'add shortcuts' and re-enter these, but any other suggestions? With many thanks.

(Sorry if I wasted anyone's time. The issue turned out to be my large external monitor for one of my computers. When I was not using it, the smaller laptop screen did not allow all Firefox setting pop-up windows to display fully, so I could not see what I was used to seeing. When I connected it again to my large external monitor, everything was fine. That is why the other computer had no issues.
(So it had nothing to do with Firefox at all, and I am sorry if anyone read my question! Thanks.)

I have FireFox set up to reset every time I start a new session which causes DuckDuckGo's AI search to reset every time. Does anyone know how I can set it so it doesn't do that? It's annoying always having to disable to every time I open a new session.
