How do I stop pup ups with several different warnings. At the top of ALL popups say Mozilla Firefox . I clicked DISMISS, then another one will pop up. 1.) Red shield with the word Warning! Click here to secure device! anti virus notification. 2.) Red and black shield say Virus found. 3.) Blue Windows symbol with a the yellow triangle and !, Click here to remove it 4.) red setting wheel, Trojan virus detected, Scan and delete your system.

I read that your new CEO is pro use of AI and doubling down on wanting to implement it. Meanwhile the literal main reason most people I know to use Firefox is that it doesn't have AI slopware. I really urge anyone capable of doing so to help reconsider a decision that is going to let down long-time users such as myself. It is getting harder and harder to avoid data leaks and security risks, and until now, Firefox seemed to have been the best browser for these purposes. I don't want to switch, but if you do this, I will have to.

What or who is Certification Manager? I have never heard of 99% of those listed in my settings. Why is this necessary? I would just like to go in there and delete every one of them!

Remove viruses via ...(but I don't have a McAfee account) -McAfee license has expired. Click here to stay protected online? via ....

I have run MalwareBytes (basic free account) and it found nothing.

I've purposefully used the environment variable to disable the security sandbox.

How can I acknowledge and hide the persistent warning? Is there any about:config value for it?

The title. I want to be able to browse while trusting a specific CA certificate, but have the option to browse without it as well. If there is no way to do it, is there a way to toggle whether Firefox trusts a CA without needing to reinstall it every time?

A couple days ago when I opened Firefox, I immediately started getting pop up messages saying I had viruses. If I clicked on REMOVE VIRUS, it tried to get me to sign up with McAfee. I cannot see my full screen due to all the pop up screens. My MS Defender virus protection is not identifying any viruses.

When I make a screenshot in private browsing the picture is black. With my former android there was no problem. Now I have a fairphone 6 and I can no longer make the screenshots in private browsing. Is there a solution fot this problem or do I need to switch to normal browsing whenever I want to make a screenshot?

In the last 4 or 5 days, I have been besieged by pop-ups from a scam website (I imagine) called giuyt.co.nz asking me to renew my norton subscription or telling me a virus has been found or a trojan detected. None of this is true. I have run scans on my system and there are no viruses and no malware. I have been into programs and deleted one or two programs i dont use, I have cleared my cache I have been into notifications and cleared that. Nothing I can do stops this avalanche of pop-ups (about 1 every 2 minutes). Can anyone help me please?

My name is Mohammad Kamal Borojerde, and I’m experiencing serious ongoing security issues while using Firefox on my iPhone 13 Pro Max. I am a delivery driver working for Deliveroo, and my device is being targeted through remote hacking methods. I suspect that some malicious actors are using apps I’m not aware of to interfere with my internet, GPS location, and even stop delivery tasks that the company sends to my phone. This has significantly affected both my work and personal life.

Despite installing multiple security applications including McAfee (Reference No: 03203372) and Bitdefender (Reference No: 1010231778), my browsing remains unsecure, and settings keep getting changed or disabled without my consent. I believe attackers are also bypassing or disabling Firefox protections on my phone.

I kindly request Firefox’s security team to investigate this matter seriously. If possible, please help me: 1. Lock down or secure my Firefox browser fully. 2. Review any unusual activity linked to my device/browser. 3. Suggest any specific configuration settings that can protect me against remote access or phishing.

Super cool site-isolation is now rolled out for Firefox Android!

I was checking the 'about:memory' and 'about:process' info pages and noted that there only seems two different processes for all tabs. As Firefox desktop achieves site-isolation via different processes per tab I was wondering if on my android device its correctly enabled. Can you elaborate if this is intended and how the site-isolation on android works?

Repeated error reports appearing in right hand side of desktop, "system Alert", Trojan detected" , Three viruses found" , etc. have not clicked any any of the buttons. I have taken two snapshot images, if of use?
