Is it possible to get rid of the sidebar section at the bottom part of the vertical tabs completely? If so how? Or is it simply not available to get rid of it completely?

I tried to turn off "Show sidebar" in settings, but then it defaults back to "Horizontal Tabs" instead of sticking with "Vertical Tabs", and switching back to "Vertical Tabs" will turn on "Show sidebar" again. And using the sidebar settings/"Customize Sidebar", there doesn't seem to be an option to get rid of it.

Each time I open Fire Fox, the window in NOT FULL ... I need to select the either F11 or the diagonal with arrow endpoints.

Surely there is a default settings that opens Fire Fox to full window allowing selection of website icons.

I'm using & viewing the most updated Firefox browser on a Windows 10 Pro (64 bit), desktop, 24" monitor screen.

With the current updates, the list of bookmarks in my Bookmarks Bar has become very small, skinny & overly spaced, hampering readability.

Though I have learned how to enlarge the bookmarks font size, using the "about:config" & updating the 'layout.css.devPixelsPerPx' attribute, the font still remains very skinny & overly spaced.

Is there an attribute that I can change to alter the Font Style (for example to "Semi-bold") & Spacing of the bookmarks list? If so, please be kind enough to describe the process & I'll give it a go.

If a Firefox Development Team member happens to be reading this post, I'd like to put in a request to add some Bookmarks Bar "FONT EDITING" tools accessible via the browser SETTINGS dialogue, to accommodate readability on ALL the various OS & computer form factors that have proliferated these days.

I'm using Firefox on Windows 11 (screen scaling set to 150%).

I'm having a problem with the very small font in the tab bar (bookmarks) at the top of the browser. The tab text is difficult to read, even though other interface elements are enlarged accordingly.

I've tried various solutions:

modifying the userChrome.css file

changing the settings in about (layout.css.devPixelsPerPx)

changing the system scaling

Unfortunately, these changes don't affect the tab text size – only the title bar or other elements change, not the tabs themselves.

Is there an official way to increase the tab font size (this doesn't mean enlarging the pages, but the browser interface)?

On Linux Mint 22 on my desktop, the buttons in the RH top corner are tiny. I have measured the minimise line and it is under 2mm long.

I have tried various searches to see if these controls could be made larger, but most questions suggest changing the theme. I don't want to do that, and I'm sceptical that it would make any difference anyway.

Has anyone got any suggestions how they could be made bigger?

I'm using the MATE desktop.

I have been using my userchrome.css for many years.

However, now Firefox ignores css style for all menu backgrounds after upgrading to v152.

However, now all my menu backgrounds (e.g File, Edit, Bookmarks, etc, see attached screenshot) are black with a see through background.

I would like to return to my original menu settings backgrounds. How do I do it please?

I do not have the function to customize my display screen to dark anymore after the last update, why? The screen shot below used to be a White on Black screen before the last update now it Black on White and I cant change it back

Firefox is opening comments to youtube shorts in a popup window that covers the video. It should be opening to the side in a panel like on my other computer. I have no addons. I cleared cookies and site data. I made sure I have firefox set to open new web pages in a new tab. Nothing helps

I have added no addon's. I checked plugin's and there are two. Open H264 video codec provided by Cisco and Widevine content description module provided by google. I have no idea what these are or why they are there.

I don;t know whether it is Firefox of Win 10, but I can't seem to reduce the amount of white space (or reduce the line spacing) when viewing websites. I'm at 80% size which is the best compromise between getting more information on a page, and legibility. Having a font which is darker or thicker would help as well, then I could reduce to maybe 60 or 70 %.

i really need this colour switch pls. my firefox kept crashing with no explanation (maybe some extension i had, then deleted when the crashes began) so i had to reset the whole thing. now the appearance has changed. i had put back my background picture, witch was fine with me, but the text was black instead of white like it used to. and it makes me use firefox less. i think its something to do with the website contrast but I'm not sure.

When I use Firefox on Samsung DeX, a blank and big box appears under the address bar. This box disappears when I place the address bar on the bottom. Switching back to the top brings the box back. What might be causing this?

I have already turned off the 3 or 4 different types of firefox suggestions in the settings. Did they add yet another one? I can't find anything about it in the settings. How can I be sure I never get a pop-up suggesting any sort of wallpaper again?
