It's been a number of updates now that bookmark keywords have stopped working on iOS. Typing a keyword in the address bar just calls the default search engine for that word instead of opening the bookmark directly. When will this bug be fixed?

I can't figure out which topic to use for this but I can't submit it without one.

When I click on the star icon in the address bar the star icon is filled in, and existing bookmarks do show with the filled-in star icon and they work. But I no longer get a dropdown where I can assign a folder, edit, tag, or delete an existing bookmark, and the pages I've tried to bookmark don't show up in Recently Bookmarked so they haven't been added. I don't know if it has something to do with the toolbar?

Nothing I can find online helps. The places.sqlite file in my profile is not read-only, and I refreshed Firefox (stupidly, before I took a screenshot of the pinned shortcuts on my New Tabs page) and that made no difference. The only extension I use is UBlock Origin. Changing profiles did not help. This is on my personal laptop and no organization controls my settings.

I stay up to date on Windows 11 and Firefox updates. I do use a VPN but it never interfered with bookmarking functionality before. (I see Firefox offers a free one now but I've got a couple of years left on my paid subscription).

I asked the community but got no replies. (I did "reply" to add more information which no longer applies, and I can't seem to delete the "reply".)

Yesterday morning when I pulled up my firefox browser all my bookmarks had disappeared from the bar, from the list and from my home page. I have tried to re-add the bookmarks and it will not save them. Please help!

After the latest software upgrade my bookmarks stopped working when clicked upon. All of them now have something similar to a globe on the left of each bookmark. last night I re-loaded some of my bookmarks and the worked as long as I remained on Firefox. Returning this morning, they all have these globes on the left, and no longer work when clicked upon.

When I bookmark a website and select edit, it does not show my created bookmarks to save too, nor can I move existing bookmarks to created folders, why not? I have to create a folder, then select all my existing important bookmarks and save them to the created folder. I can not later add any saved bookmarks to the created folder, why not? The Beta version has the same issue. Please make a change to allow for bookmark saving or moving to created folders. Thank you.

When adding a bookmark on Android, I used to be able to sort bookmark order within folders by custom sort, A-Z, and age. Recently (as of 148.0 (Build #2016144279)), the folder menu when adding a bookmark is now different, but the sort options no longer work.

I'm making a post here before making one on Mozilla Connect, in the hopes this bug can be passed on to a developer.

I use to have at the top of my page a bottom bar that had my most frequent bookmarks..Now it is forever gone and I cannot find out how to get it back.Your new update is crashing my page constantly... I hate it,can I please have my old page back?

When I logged in this morning my bookmarks toolbar was gone, along with the favorite start. I have googled and followed support articles and the only thing I was able to do is get the menu bar to show along with the the bookmark menu but customizing the toolbar.

My bookmark toolbar is empty. I have made sure "Always Show" is checked. I have tried to put new Web Sites on the toolbar to no avail. Nothing seems to bring back my bookmarks. I have added the little star with the bracket under it to the bookmark toolbar. It has many of the previous bookmarks but many are also missing. Entire folders are missing. I have been messing around with the tabs toolbar because they are about 30% too tall. About 1" too tall. 3/4" above text and 1/4" below. About 1/3rd of my screen is taken by tool bars. Approx 1 1/8" by the bookmark toolbar alone which is showing only the star with the bracket under it ( Far left of line ).

I'm running Firefox 153.1 64-bit on Windows 11 Pro 25H2. I have a LOT of bookmarks. Possibly over 3,000. Somehow over time I've managed to create a LOT of bookmarks in the Other Bookmarks folder unintentionally. I need to move and merge those to the correct Bookmarks Menu and ideally eliminate any dupes. Everywhere I look for a process to accomplish this I seem to get a lot of "can't be done". Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks for any help.
