When composing a message, Thunderbird crashes when I interact with the body of the message - either just clicking the body or starting to type in it.
This just started today. There've been no desktop updates or plugin updates that I'm aware of. I've had version 91 installed for a little while with no issues. I tried opening Thunderbird in Troubleshooting Mode, and I just upgraded to 91.0.1, and it's still happening.
I'm on a MacBook Pro, using Catalina 10.15.7.

I'm running Thunderbird 78.14.0 on MacOS 11.6
Frequently Thunderbird on my Macbook will 'stall' when trying to refresh the inbox for my Google mail account (google worksplace).
If I switch folders, the the newly selected folder will download.
If I switch to a few other folders, and back to the inbox, the inbox folder will refresh.
When I switch folders, I see the status bar showing sending login & refreshing contents. The folders that don't download do not show the status bar updates.
I'm almost certain it's a setting that I inadvertently tweaked, but can't figure out which one.
Any suggestions?

Hi, My Thunderbird installation has suddenly lost the ability to copy the Original message into a reply when I click the Repy button. I haven't changed any settings. See Image for Composition & Addressing settings. I did notice yesterday that I have a newer version of Thunderbird 91.1.2. Reverting to 91.1.0 made no difference. The system has also had some recent Windows Updates applied. Everything else works fine.

I was just updated from TB 78(?) to 91. I had to remove and re-add my Google calendar. In the add dialogs it's shows one of my subscribed calendars (Holidays in United States) but not the other (my wife's). Her calendar shows up normally when viewing on the web or my calendar app but I can't get TB 91 to see it.
It was working fine before the update using the Provider add-on (which I've since removed).
How do I convince TB to show this calendar?

Whose bright idea was it to modify my outgoing mail server configuration with the last update. I just wasted a couple hours trying to figure out why the server port was changed from 25. Yes I know that is not secure, but it doesn't work if you change it like you did. Don't do it again or you may lose a user.

I recently moved my office computer to my home as I have retired from dentistry. I discontinued my office phone service which also hosted(?) my domain name. I appear to have lost the access to my email address through Thunderbird. I had access for one day, at home, through WiFi, but that stopped when I cancelled my phone and internet service with Century Link yesterday. I am completely unsure as to how to proceed. Thunderbird asked to upgrade to Thunderbird 91.2.0 64 bit and I allowed it to do so. When it had rebooted, the "Move to" function was no longer working by typing an entry. Additionally, the recent folder access for moving was not there. The usual ability to type characters into the entry box did not pull up the matching folder names. Thanks.
