Witam Potrzebuję całkowicie usunąć program Thunderbird wraz z wszystkimi jego składnikami . Będę instalował go ponownie i potrzebne mi jest całkowite wyczyszczenie wszystkich danych w programie. Deinstalacja usuwa tylko program ale po ponownej instalacji wszystko wraca do poprzednich ustawień. Proszę o pomoc. Dziękuję

I keep telling thunderbird that messages are not junk, but it keeps putting them back in the Junk folder. The messages come from people in my address book. What the f... is going on? It is extremely annoying. I have been using thunderbird forever. I would have to switch to microsoft software. Please help!

I realized that when i use Quicsearch field for searching in message BODY, it works wrong. When i put to search field value 1084783026 it finds some messages, but when i delete one number (either from begin or end) , it does not find anything, even not than previous records . Nearly every day I have to quit Thunderbird and reopen it as, it will not connect to my server. This means that all the viewing criteria and spending/descending has to be reset and is a real drag. As soon as I reopen Thunderbird it works normally again.

I have used the same connection details for years and it is just the last two Thunderbird versions that have replicated this issue. It's not always every morning when I wake my iMac up, but normally happens then or, later during the day.

I asked this question for 102.3.1 but received no answers so, I am hoping that there will be an answer to this.

Cannot send emails

My Thunderbird is completely updated. Since July I have found it impossible to consistently send emails. I checked my outgoing settings and they are fine. I have no anti-… (funda kabanzi)

My Thunderbird is completely updated. Since July I have found it impossible to consistently send emails. I checked my outgoing settings and they are fine. I have no anti-virus (I'm using a Mac). When I turn off the firewall, I can send one email out, sometimes two, then they will no longer go out. I tried deleting Thunderbird from the firewall, then adding it again. Nothing doing. This occurs with both email addresses I use.

Should I remove Thunderbird from my computer and start over? Or is it a lost cause?

I have Thunderbird 115.8.0 installed on my MacBook Pro with two email accounts, Yahoo and Gmail. I have set up the Tools/Message Filters/Block Filters as well. When I first launch Thunderbird all the spam shows up in my inbox, and just sits there. What I have to do is go to Tools/Message Filters at which point I'm asked to select an account. I select Yahoo (my primary account) and then "Run Filters" before anything actually happens. Then if I go back to my inbox, the spam emails start disappearing. It seems that Thunderbird does not remember the "Yahoo" selection in filters in between launches. Is there a setting I am missing, or is this just the product of having two different email accounts? My OS is Linux Mint 20.3 Una base: Ubuntu 20.04 focal Thunderbird version 102.4.2 (64-bit) "Today" marker does not advance to current calendar day after midnight of the previous calendar day in monthly view. The monthly view is the only view I use. If the < Today > link at the top of the calendar is mouse-clicked, it does not advance to the current day but remains on the previous day. To advance the day marker I have to click either "<" for previous month or ">" for the next month and then click Today. At that point the calendar will return to the current month and highlight the current day. This problem was also present on a previous version of LM (18.3) My add-ons are: Cardbook v. 83.6 ConfirmBeforeDelete v. 1.7.0 Lightening Calendar Tabs v. 2.8 Provider for CalDAV & CardDAV v. 4.3 TaskviewFlexLayout v. 62.9

There are two disabled extensions which could be uninstalled as they have been disable "since dirt was young,": TabAddressBook ToDo.txt Both were automatically disabled by Thunderbird due to incompatibility and I have no further need for them The active extensions are used with regularlity. This is a "livible" problem but but an irritation. Searches with multiple search engines have turned up nothing on this issue since 2020 and/or v. 68 of Tbird. Thank you in advance for any assistance you may provide on this issue. Mozilla software has bee my default software of choice, also "since dirt was young," and for what it's worth (which is very little) I check viable alternatives virtually every six months to see what your "competition" has to offer. Particularly, your configurational granularity is STELLAR! Once again, thanks!

I was deleting large quantities of e-mails to free up space. I'd highlighted over 600. Thunderbird asked if I was sure I wanted to select them all, I said yes. I'd intended to then hit delete.

Unfortunately, Thunderbird decided to try to open all the e-mails, in separate tabs. Of course, it can't.

Big problem is I can't stop it from trying. I have let it crash and selected "re-open", let it crash and selected "quit", tried to x-out the e-mail tabs while it is working (it won't let me), I have x'd out of Thunderbird myself, and restarted my PC.

And, still, when I try to start Thunderbird, it opens and immediately starts trying to open all those tabs again.

Please tell me how to make it stop! I made one bad click ...

login failure? Unable to send/receive my emails

I am a long-time TB user with gmails. No problems in the past. I inadvertently hit send for my reply to a message delivered to me on a no-reply account (Wordpress). A big… (funda kabanzi)

I am a long-time TB user with gmails. No problems in the past. I inadvertently hit send for my reply to a message delivered to me on a no-reply account (Wordpress). A big overlay screen popped up with the heading "sign in with Google" and then "sign in to continue to Thunderbird email"; then "enter email or phone"; and then "next". Clicking next takes you to a new screen that reads "Google 400, the server cannot process the request because it is malformed. It should not be retried. That's all we know."

Meanwhile, TB tries to log on until it times out, ending with small box in lower corner of the screen, "Authentification error" (see third screen shot).

I logged onto my Google account and as far as I can tell that is okay. I've turned off my computer and tried sending emails, but always get the above screens. Seems like I'm caught in a loop and can't cancel out the error message. Is this a TB problem or a Google problem. Help!

I have always had to enter my pw to receive emails, and always have to enter it again to send emails. Why do I have to enter it twice?

Every other email client I have ever used only requires I enter it once.

I don't want to use Thunderbird to save my passwords.

How do I delete from server after N days yet keep forever locally while using IMAP?

I would like to keep using imap (because directory synchronization and such) instead of pop, yet I also want to configure thunderbird to delete (expunge) emails from the … (funda kabanzi)

I would like to keep using imap (because directory synchronization and such) instead of pop, yet I also want to configure thunderbird to delete (expunge) emails from the server after a certain number of days while keeping them intact offline. The reason for this is that I want to keep an offline only archive because it is more secure.

I currently only see options to delete everywhere after N days or delete locally after N days, but I want to keep local and delete from the server. It looks like the server software my email provider uses doesn't have a setting for it either, so doing this in thunderbird is my best chance of getting ut done.
