Addressing the problem, Practice Better says my acct is not blocked on their end. They say put

notifications@practicebetter.io in a safe senders list, but I can't find anything like that. How could I get my Thunderbird email acct to accept Practice Better's messages?

I have a particular need to periodically run junk mail filters on a folder in Local Folders that I know will contain mostly junk mail. According to a search engine, the command to do filtering on particular folders should come up in a junk mail tab when you right click on a folder and look under properties. When I right click on a folder, however, I never see a junk mail tab under properties or anywhere else. Where to I find the command to do junk mail filtering on a specific folder? Greatly appreciate any assistance.

A few days ago the "Junk" folders in my Thunderbird accounts, without any action on my part, were suddenly renamed as "Spam" folders.

Anyone know why this happened?

I recently noticed that my Thunderbird has two identical Spam folders. I deleted Thunderbird from my computer and reinstalled it but the two Spam folders are still there. When I right click either one there is no Delete option.

My business has two domains. I can send email to a Gmail account holder using the primary domain with no issues. But amy emails from what I call the "secondary" domain below are treated as spam. This occurs with two different email addresses using the secondary domain.

Both domains are hosted with Bluehost. Exhaustive research has revealed the following:

• Settings in Thunderbird are exactly the same, e.g. ports, security, SSL/TLS, etc. for each domain.
• There is no subject line or content that could possibly be regarded as spam.
• MXToolbox indicates that the secondary domain is not on any blacklist.
• Extended support via Bluehost reveals that SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records are all correct.
• Email sent to a Gmail account using the CPanel (Roundcube) is not flagged as spam. Only emails sent via Thunderbird are flagged.
• Emails sent to a Gmail account from the secondary domain using my mobile phone, but still on the same network/IP address, are not flagged as spam.
• If I first send an email to one of the secondary domain emails FROM Gmail, then reply to it, the reply is not flagged as spam.

After many hours of head scratching (and later, head banging), I am pretty much at my wit's end with this problem. I'm an electronic engineer but this one is definitely out of my wheelhouse. Any help would most certainly be appreciated!

Last week my Inbox started showing TWO (2) unread messages, but I cannot find any unread messages in my Inbox. My SPAM folder is also showing two (2) spam messages, but there is only one spam message in the folder.

Settings have been set to move Spam to my spam folder. Although Spam is identified it does not get moved to my Spam folder. It used to happen but an upgrade a while back seemed to stop it happening. I have tried undoing and re-doing settings to no avail. Can someone help please?

I am receiving the following error message on a Win 11 desktop running Thunderbird 128.6.0.esr (64 bit): "The folder '[Gmail]/Trash on my.fr33.email@gmail.com' could not be compacted because writing to the folder failed. Verify that you have enough disk space, and that you have write privileges to the file system, then try again." I do not have a folder [Gmail]/Trash on the gmail server. I also do not get this error on other Thunderbird clients running Win 10 or Win 11. I also do NOT get the error when I manually compact the my.fr33.email account, either at the account level or at the Gmail folder level. Once I acknowledge the error the system seems to run normally until is wants to automatically compact folders. Any suggestions will be appreciated. -- John Randle Knoxville, TN

Hello. I have been accumulating much junk emails as I have not found a way to delete junk emails in bulk ( much emails accumulation.) I am not very tech wise but are familiar with desk top maneuvers .Could someone help me do this as I over 69,000 emails in my junk folder .How to delete them all ?

I accidentally dropped my "Bulk" folder in the "Trash" folder. When I tried to remove the folder, it refused to move!

1. I tried ctrl + Z to undo the last action - failed
2. I tried dragging and dropping - failed
3. I tried right-clicking and choosing move - no such option - failed

I tried closing the program, reopening, and repeating steps 1-3 - failed I tried rebooting the computer and repeated steps 1-3 - failed

How can I move the folder back?

I have a regular correspondent who sends emails addressed to 65 of his closest friends (including me). (He's very old, and getting him to change is hopeless). Thunderbird usually lets his emails into my Inbox, but also frequently forwards them to a "Bulk" mail folder. (I never set up such a folder, or any rule to send mails there). No amount of telling Thunderbird that none of his emails are not "junk" prevents this from recurring, though it does move individual emails so noted to my Inbox. How do I stop Thunderbird from diverting mails from this sender to the Bulk folder? Rules? Filters? I don't see any self-help topics that look like they address such a problem. TNX FS

Trash folder was deleted in Thunderbird program (win 11) by mistake, how do I bring it back? It was a mistake and I tried to add the folder again and it says it is there but I can not see it. If I can not get it back, where does the deleted message go? gus85032@gmail.com Respectfully Gus

A category (Daily Brain something) of emails that are clearly spam (you even think they are spam) are landing in my Inbox every day. I have my email set to not allow emails from any addresses that aren't in my book. If I follow their 'unsubscribe' link, I just get more of them. I want to change the folder to which I currently send my spam filters on my Mac. I understand how I can edit them individually and handle new filters, however I have several hundred accumulated filters created over the years and doing so individually will be very time consuming. Is there a method I can use to change all existing spam filter's destination folder in a single step. I know a bit about using Config Editor, Chrome css, probably just enough to get my self in trouble. I see several spam filter files within the Thunderbird folder, but not sure if they are germane.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi. Awhile back alot of stuff was going to Spam that shouldn't have, never did before and it was frustrating. It just started out of the blue. I have a few email addresses and it happened to all of them.

Then I've noticed over the past couple of weeks that the spam folders have disappeared. Don't know why. Of all things, I want my spam folders back so I can see if I'm missing something important. If I don't have spam folders, and I'm getting false spams, where are they?

Did TB delete my spam folders in some update?
