Why does THUNDERBIRD strip all the embedded graphics from an e-mail when I send it to others or add a graphics file? The PC is running WINDOWS 7 HOME PREMIUM, which was getting all the MICROSOFT updates during its lifetime.
Here's an actual situation: I do LADDER programming for Programmable Logic Controllers. I had an issue with the Editor, and so I contacted the company's Tech Service Dept. An agent e-mailed me back, asking me to make a Screen Shot of the problem that I experienced & send it to him with some other information for him to review. I did it no problem. When I looked at the e-mail in my THUNDERBIRD 'Sent folder', only the text that I typed was present. All the graphics, etc. had been stripped away.
This has also occurred when I've forwarded technical articles about electronics circuits and/or components.
And, it has occurred when I've forwarded online newspaper items as well.
This NEVER happened with former releases of THUNDERBIRD, so I know that something has been changed in the basic operation of the program.
