I've been deleting my saved passwords in Firefox, after migrating to a standalone password manager. It's been anything but easy (deletions are not synced, and bulk deletion process is inconvenient to say the least).
What worries me is that my "deleted" passwords kept coming back as soon as I enabled Sync, until I realised I had duplicate devices in my Mozilla account control panel. I still have, though, some other connected services (Add-ons, Mozilla Support, Mozilla Monitor...).
Is what I've done enough to ensure they're gone? Where exactly are synced passwords stored, and how can I be sure that they aren't lying around in a Mozilla server, awaiting a future data breach? I don't have the time and energy to change 200+ passwords.
I set Shortcuts to display as a list a few minutes ago, but it reverted to icons, and I can not find that setting again.

There are three problems, all related, that are frustrating me with Firefox on Android. I have a Samsung Galaxy 24+. I am trying to get Firefox to use a local HTML file that are my bookmarks, but I am stymied at every turn:
1) when I click on the local, Galaxy, HTML file, I get the standard "Open with" pop up, but they only list: Chrome, HTML View, Android's Internet browser, and Samsung Print Services. Why doesn't Firefox show up there? This is important to me. Is Firefox failing to register its browser properly in Galaxy products?
2) The next thing I try to do is to sync bookmarks so that I can use my hundreds of bookmarks (rather than adding them into Firefox one at a time). So, I click on the famous three vertical dots and there is no "Sync" function in that menu, see attached. So I cannot import my bookmarks from my PC's bookmarks.
3) Thirdly, I try to type into the URL field what Chrome uses to access local files, which is for example: "content://media/external/file/1000005061" but Firefox android does not recognize that. When I change it to "file://media/external/file/1000005061" that does not work either.

This behaviour is not replicated for other settings i may make, e.g. dom.storage.enabled, or permissions.default.image. Being Android i have no root so no possibility of creating a user.js to override Firefox ignoring my settings. This seems to be a bug. Version is Android Nightly version 121.0a1, 2023-11-05.

Hello! I noticed FireFox Android now reports my real OS version but FireFox Android has auto spoofed the useragent OS version from version 122? The install was via apk through Aurora app store if that makes any difference. I would like to fix this if its an error, if the spoof has been disabled then it will obviously remain. As of today in Firefox Nightly for Android the buttons noted in the subject line above have now taken up a section of my screen instead of being tucked away in a menu, which is my preference. I cannot figure out how to put it back as I have no need for these to be persistent in any way. Please instruct me on how to reassert the previous settings.
