...however, one annoying hurdle or trip-up,.. to less-savvy users, is that they could get that far, decide to do the steps, but then when trying to get the off-the-drive's-root-dir,.. full, every-directory, full, location,..

is that they can sometimes only see a limited location, when your android's storage is partially kept segregated, and only a SHORTENED, location, is shown, essentially, you SEE one of the subdirectories, AS, the root.
if it was the 1st subdirectory, that would have the same effect, no problem, but sometimes its the 3rd, the 7th,.. and that,.. = a problem.
so for EXAMPLE;
say a full address might be ;
c:/temp/a/backups/15/2/auto
a shortened version of that, might appear on screen as STARTING, at backups,.. ( 3rd )
and what you would SEE, when you try to copy it, is
. "backups/15/2" and not
"temp/a/backups/15/2"
then! take a guess what happens,
you type what you SEE,.. in,
but it doesn't work.
OK - now the TIP
if you cannot work out the WHOLE directory-location, simply try getting a PROPERTIES PAGE for the directory you want, with a file-manager.
they should display a complete full-version of the directory's ACTUAL location, on your device's drive.
that's what you need, not just typing in "downloads" or "dcim" or "music" etc.
even if you are typing in multiple, it could still be, that there's hidden ones BEFORE the ones you've been able to cut&paste visually.
Doing it this way, is easy, since using a default file-manager, requires no research into apps,.. & a download,.. & learning how to use it ... etc
often simply a long-press with your finger, with a drop-down box, or selecting the directory, and then the button for extra functions of your file-manager, like cut, paste, etc, is enough to get a properties page,
or if there's a second button? for functions like export-to, print, send-in-an-sms, add-to-a-zipfile... stuff like that.
MOST if not all, file-managers, should have a properties-page display FOR files&directories, somewhere. if your file-manager does not, install a freeware one that does.

So I installed Firefox on my computer and I am trying to finish setting up my Firefox account. It keeps asking me to link my phone number and to install Firefox on it, so I did by going onto Google Play Store and installing the browser. Even though I logged onto my Firefox account via my phone, Firefox on my computer still asks me to set it up on my phone. Because of this, I can't finish registering my account.
Even clicking the link that was sent via SMS doesn't work; it opens in Firefox but nothing happens on the other end.
I tried refreshing the awaiting confirmation page, it just brings me back to the page shown in the first image.
I closed Firefox, re-opened it, signed out of my account, and signed back in again. It keeps asking me for a phone number.

When I increase Android's font size and check Accessibility -> Use system font size, the font scaling is ok.
But this solution is not good - now fonts are big everywhere in my phone... It seems simple to add a font-size slider, and I think it's a saner option.

Crashing after 3 or 4 windows open. But even 1 window open long enough. Just closes back to android 4.4 home screen. On MotoG 2nd gen no SD card & almost 50% memory free (2.24 free of 5.52GB) No error messages. If reopen FFox the windows all show and can open to where I was but crash again quickly again no error messages.
