Hello,

When i click on notifications from a pwa it will bring me to my browser and it will give nothing and stay on homepage or get a tab about:blank. Why doesn't it go to my pwa and why don't i get my stuff from the notification on my screen?

Since a few weeks, the app has been draining my battery like crazy. We're talking about higher energy consume than games, and with less screen-on time. I'm using a Pixel 7 pro, Firefox since I got it, and never had this issues until now. I was forced to uninstall it as ir was unbearable to use my phone and having it die several hours before it used to. After that I installed Chrome, which is not famous for being battery friendly, and the problems are completely gone.

I keep my apps ALWAYS up to date with updates, así well as my phone, so I'm sure the issue has something to do with Firefox app.

I've already described the issue on the XDA forum, but nothing has been resolved and the problem is still there and I've read about security vulnerabilities in the browser and it could have fallen into this one Party I don't know anymore. but since the version with the ending 17, I don't remember exactly now. I'm having a problem with my phone's security. VirusTootal detects the Trojan for me in applications where the Trojan is not present.

I've tried cleaning my phone.but it doesn't help.

I'm using F-Droid and I'll use this example to tell you what's going on. for some time now I have been updating almost all the new ones that I download zl from there I also download with a Trojan, these applications are clean in other users. The ones from Google Play have some too. Be it from github or fdroid -It doesn't matter :( Some manage to be clean, but really these are the cases.. Of course, I also downloaded mods. thanks for the reply and tips. health for all' I would like to add that I used this browser because of the add-ons and options.. The photos are just a preview and a fraction of the problem. Nothing helps from resetting, deleting apk by even adb and after updates.

As it says in the subject. Chrome works fine on the same phone on both 5G and Wifi, but FF will only work on wifi, the requests just time out (it's unclear whether DNS times out or the http(s) connection).

Tried fresh install with untouched setting, no dice. Reboots also don't help.

I used the "clash for Android" program to turn on the system proxy, only Firefox had an exception, and all other programs were able to connect to the Internet normally. Strangely, I can swipe web pages in Firefox with a VPN, but not with Clash. The Android version I am using is 118.2.0, the system is oneui 5.1, Android 13. The phone is not rooted, I would like to know how to fix this problem with clash.

I raised this issue in my review on the Google App Store and was asked to submit it as a question here. On my phone (Oppo running on ColorOS 13.1), Firefox will stop working a number of times a month. For about 24 hours, aside from Google result pages, nothing will load, and I'll be stuck looking at an empty loading screen. The last time I raised this issue I was told to delete and reinstall the app, which worked in the moment but did nothing to stop the problem occurring again. Aside from waiting for the app to fix itself, nothing I've found works.

This situation happened after I updated to the latest version of Firefox at Play Store. Once I connect to the VPN, every website only shows this error and refuse to open normally. After I uninstalled and reinstalled it, nothing changed even I also cleared the cookies and cache. And then I downloaded the extension called FoxyProxy and selected it's proxy type as system, but it showed that system settings is not supported due to Firefox limitation.

I didn't change anything, a few days ago everything went well, but it just happened suddenly without any notice. Other browsers are fine except Firefox.

i use Firebox on my Huawei Y6s and have oermanen problems withvlogin and captchas, because they claim, I have Firefox 25 installed

My version is

119.0b3 (Build #2015977017), c6de0a34a8+ GV: 119.0-20230929091427 AS: 119.0

And was only update 3 days ago.

Note: i have no Addons installed and about:config does not work here.

How can this be solved?

I found an issue in Firefox for Android. I recreated it in stable 118.1 and nightly 120 on two devices (Samsung S21 and Xiaomi Pad 5).

To reproduce the issue:

   Open Google Drive or OneDrive (I didn't check on other clouds) in desktop site mode.
   Try to upload a file of size ~1GB.

In 70% of cases, Firefox will crash in different ways

Firefox browser on Android is not opening mail apps when clicking Mailto link. Screen goes blank. No action. Firefox laptop browser works fine, opens mail app when Mailto link is clicked. Picture shows "President" highlighted in orange...this means the link was clicked but the browser didnt execute the send email command, so no mail apps opened. Used Chrome on this link and it opened a window with several mail app options.

I recently switched phones to the Google pixel 7 pro. When I Google a business, a little "call" button shows up, just like it always has for the phone number. On my old phone it worked fine with Firefox, and on this phone it works on the Google Chrome browser, but I can't press the call button in Firefox. Worse, when I long press and copy it, it copies the telephone link and I can't paste into the phone app. I've checked and third party apps can be opened by Firefox if I click a Twitter link or whatever, everything else works fine, but not being able to call is a huge bummer

I have a Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 and use Firefox as my default browser (only extensions are uBlock Origin and Bitwarden); I also have DuckDuckGo running App Tracking Protection in the background for non-browser tracking. Some apps (like Wells Fargo, but also a few others) fail to fully load when Firefox is my default -- I switch to Samsung Internet (with AdBlock) and the same apps load fine. I've tried changing Firefox from Strict to Standard Enhanced Tracking Protection. Any other recommended troubleshooting steps? Thanks so much.

The enter apple id flashes (see attached) for 0.1 seconds and it immediately goes to forgot password. That doesnt work well either but if I change the pw, i still cant log in.
