Version: FF Android 101.2.0 (plus other version stuff I can provide if needed), Android 12

Just thought I'd report this because it appears to be a consistent, reasonably long-standing issue (months) on a popular news site. Or is it "just me"?

Expected behaviour: I am able to open various links on this website as backround tabs and continue browsing.

Actual behaviour: 1. After a couple are opened, Firefox for Android hangs for very close to 40 seconds then does a deep redraw/repaint of all tabs and continues to function until I next try to open another background tab from that website. 2. During the hang tab interface continues to redraw, but the pages are not repainted and no taps events work. 3. At the end of this hang time, the pages appear to redraw from scratch and the context pop-up for the third long-press appears on top of whichever tab I was looking at.

It is 100% repro for me -- long-press fails when attempting to open the 3rd background tab, but repaint failure occurs earlier. There is something toxic happening.

Curiously, when I next view my Android Home screen, there is some sort deep refresh/repaint, as if it has been swapped-out or GC'd etc.

e.g. Is there some massive memory blow-out happening?

Context/workarounds: 1. I have tried clearing all browsing data and using a guess account on the phone. 2. I have no addins installed. 3. Neither Chrome nor FF Desktop exhibit this behaviour. This ia FF Android specific

Hi everyone,

I set up my Firefox for Android to delete cookies and cache when I click on "Close".

I was happy with it but I realized several months ago than websites as leboncoin.fr, amazon.fr, decathlon.fr (yes i'm french), didn't keep me loged in but remember what I had looked for and where I was. This problem is permanent.

I don't have this problem with Firefox for Windows.

So it seems something is nor cleared from the app when I close it.

Occasionally a news item's graphics presentation will not display the pertinent data just blank inside windows. So I cannot read the embedded images and comments. I cannot find a setting to allow exceptions to this restriction. Help someone?

My query is regarding Youtube HD extension in Firefox Android Browser. The browser supports max quality upto 1080p resolution. The query is I cannot watch Youtube video in 1440p , 4k resolution. What's the problem with the extension.

Similarly I use other browser on my phone i.e. Vivaldi browser. On Vivaldi browser I can watch Youtube videos in 1440p , 4k resolution.

Hi in Google search on Firefox in android when I type Cube Legal in the search at the top my Google business appears but it has a random picture of an alien. But on desktop or on other browser it is not there? We have nothing to do with this picture nor has it been uploaded. How do I get rid of it. There is a random Link to the picture for base64 decoder whatever that is?

Streaming video on websites using Firefox or Firefox Nightly like YouTube, Tubi TV etc on my Android smartphone results in a low, sluggish frame rate that can be hard to watch. When using a chromium powered web browser for media consumption like Kiwi Browser, the same video from the same website plays perfectly smooth every time.

The only extension I have installed on both the Firefox and Firefox Nightly apps on my phone is UBlock Origin.

Does anybody know of any settings or optimizations I can make that can help smooth out video streaming playback on Firefox?

I'm getting bombarded by this domain. I get notifications at the top of my phone and shows it's from firefox. When I click or go to firefox there's nothing indicating this domain. Nothing in history or anywhere else. I've run AVG several times and again nothing shows. Don't know where to locate this spam, to iradicate it.

Hey I am using Firefox Browser in my daily routine and want to bookmark some websites but when i close the firefox browser all my data removed. For example I tried this Pakistan Junior League Schedule Pakistan Junior League Squad Pakistan Junior League Squad Page to bookmark so many times but cant please check and review what is issues there. For the life of me I can't get my bookmarks in alphabetical order. I use my laptop FF to sync my phone but some bookmarks are still not in order. I try to sort them via FF on my laptop but it's not working correctly. IT IS SYNCING with my phone.

When I want to open I bookmark in a new tab, there's no settings button. If I'm in a tab I wish to keep open the settings button is there, I'm able to use it to open the new tab, and then I can't go anywhere unless I know the address, because I can't access my bookmarks. I've been waiting a long time for this to me fixed. I don't see any logical reason for this, so I wonder if I'm missing something or if a setting got changed. Please help me access my bookmarks from a fresh tab.

Please, if you can. Let me know how to change it? I stopped using Firefox for a long time. For awhile I got whoever deals with that problem to change it. I guess. But it started again. I don't know Spanish. I know English, and I am currently working on Sioux Tribe language. But I am not really versed in any language except English for everything I receive from Firefox to be in Spanish.
