I have a Galaxy Note9 and images downloaded from the Firefox(v80.1.3) app have no date information. This causes them to not show in the gallery app, not until I restart my phone or rename the image in my local storage/downloads folder.

It seems to only affect Firefox as I have tested it on chrome and the Samsung browser and they all work fine. I've even tested different images and sites, all to the same effect. This all appeared after Firefox recently did an update on the app, which is why I suspect its a Firefox issue.

Is there anyway to resolve this issue.

The sound quality gets very bad when playing YouTube videos at abnormal playback speeds (e.g. 0.75 or 1.25). This is not a problem using the YouTube app or other browsers such as Samsung browser. It makes videos unwatchable at abnormal playback speeds.

Ever since the revamp I have a lot of trouble with typing a search phrase in the address bar. After hitting enter, nothing happens. Hitting the magnifying glass: nothing. Selecting an alternate engine: nothing.

I have not noticed a definite pattern, but I want to say that it is more frequently occurring when I'm searching from a previously-opened tab (maybe something to do with trying to search from a tab that never fully opened? Just a guess.) It is not a connection problem- I switch to chrome: no problems. I want to continue using firefox, so I am writing this, but it is annoying enough that I will be forced to uninstall and use another browser if the problem persists. Good luck folks, I support Mozilla's mission and want y'all to continue to succeed

Hi there,

I have recently returned to Firefox for android and I've noticed a bug on my Huawei P30.

When downloading images (from any website) those images do not show up in the Huawei gallery. I can see them in my file manager, and only upon moving them to a new location do they show up. However if copied back to the download folder, the image now appears in Gallery. It is as if the gallery does not have permission to view the file, or the image file is somehow locked.

I have tried switching the location in Nightly and Beta versions using about:config but the issue persists and this is of course not possible in the release version.

Any ideas or help? It is frustrating to have to navigate to my downloads folder in my file manager every time I wish to access or share a photo I've downloaded.

When I open NAVER mobile page( https://m.naver.com ) on Firefox Android, it tooks at least 15 sec. I tested this on other Android devices and always slow on NAVER.

I'm using Firefox Daylight Android latest build(80.1.3 #2015762835) and Using 3 Extensions which firefox officially recommended. (ublock origin, dark reader, https everywhere)

NAVER mobile page is fast on firefox windows and opera android. I think it is not network problem.

I think test is needed for m.naver.com and fix.

This is a very annoying bug, and should've just stuck with the previous tile Tab Pages, instead of a list with thumbnail.

How to replicate this bug on Firefox Android 80.1.3?

1. Make sure that viewing the Tab Pages, ensure that it is filled the screen, so you need to scroll up and down. 2. Just create a new tab page from a link, though, DO NOT switch to it immediately. 3. Now go to view Tab Pages.

Result:

1. The new tab page which you opened from a link, but didn't switch, is NOT recognised as the 'First' or 'Newest' tab page. 2. The current tab page you are currently viewing is recognised as the 'First' or 'Newest' tab page. 3. Scrolling Down (because the new tab page is up), IT DOESN'T SCROLL UP, instead, it recognises that I'm closing the Tab Pages.

How to view the first tab page?

1. Scroll up a little to view an older tab page 2. Scroll down.

Greetings, about week or more ago whenever I would open Firefox two instances would pop up and to fully close Firefox I would have to exit out of both. While it is a rather small inconvenience having to swipe twice to fully quit the app it's slowly becoming more annoying especially when I am going through my open apps and two Firefox browsers get in the way of me finding the app I need or when I am trying to look at something from another open app quickly. Any help would be appreciated. I have a Pixel 3a running Android 11 and Firefox is updated to the most recent version. Also, I do not have any add-ons or pluggins. I have included a screen shot of what it looks like Thank you!

Loading bar gets to a third of the way across then stops. No addons installed.

App will work fine for a little while then grind to a halt. Restarting eventually seems to work but only briefly.

I've had to put this ticket in on chrome because the page wouldn't load.

Same behaviour when browser is embedded in other apps.

I've tried clearing cache/data and reinstalling.

I'm trying to stick with FF as I've used it for many many years and I was hoping this would be fixed in an update but this is ridiculous.
