Whenever I try to record something on the Firefox, the sound gets really bad. There's a kind of noise in the background, which isn't present irl, and you can barely hear my voice. This doesn't happen when I use the recorder app or another browser.

Hello,

I am using the AdGuard App on all android devices.

This blocks ads in all the apps on your device and also acts as a sort of systemwide firewall, DNS server and it blocks ads INSIDE other Apps.

HOWEVER, From all known browsers on the same device ONLY FIREFOX will NOT work at all.

It keeps saying "Website blocked - Insecure Connection" And you simply can't open any website, whatever change you make to the settings. The URL address line shows a crossed lock symbol, although "HTTPS enforcement" is OFF

ONLY SOLUTION seems to be to Disable the Adguard App Protection completely or - possibly - indicate to the AdGuard App to add Firefox to a list of unmonitored Apps (like a whitelist for Android Apps)...

Later on, you can add the normal browser addon of AdGuard or any other adblocker.

STILL I'm asking myself why only Firefox behaves this way, when the AdGuard App wants to monitor the entire Firefox App?? The purpose of which honestly is to make sure any Android App is not leaking or sending data...

QUESTION It would be safer to allow the Firefox App to be "audited" or monitored, since more and more SECURITY APPS are also keeping tabs on all the installed apps and monitor their behaviour.

FYI ESET Android Security for example, explicitly states that Firefox is one of 3 browsers it CAN monitor.

Hope you can communicate with the AdGuard App devs if there is a solution. or if this is an unlucky fluke due to the myriad of combinations of possible phones, Android Versions and personal setups...

Thanks for the help or any commit later on for future releases.

Have a nice day and hope this might intrest some people  :-)

Hello,

I use KeepassDX and Android autofill to manage and use my logins/passwords on Android. On Chrome for Android or Opera for Android, when I click on a username field in a web page, everything is working fine : I can click on the button above the keyboard, unlock the password manager and select the login/password entry I want, and both username and passwords fields are filled.

However, on Firefox for Android, most of the time, if I click on the username field, nothing is happening (no button to unlock the password manager and select a username/password). It seems Firefox fail to detect the username and query Android autofill. If I click on the password field, I can select a username/password entry as expected. But only the password is filled. Again, it seems Firefox does not detect the username and so does not fill it. I have to open the password manager app (keepassDX), search for the entry, copy the login, and paste it in Firefox. It's really annoying and cumbersome.

Is there a way to make Firefox detect usernames fields, and play nice with Android autofill ? Or should I submit a bug report ?

Have a nice day ! :-)

I have 2 issues/questions

1. I have experienced websites not being installable on Firefox, but I know there is a PWA available, as I have installed it on chromium browsers. Is there something I can do to remedy this myself, or is this a problem with Firefox (future update?) Example: investor.nordea.no

2. The Brave Browser, spesifically, has a tendency to let websites run as a PWA, despite it not being available to install. (Opens as a seperate application) Is it possible to do something like this in Firefox? Example: https://www.marinetraffic.com

When I attempt to use a saved password for apps it usually works correctly but for at least one certain app when I need to enter the user name Firefox wants to enter the password so I have to enter the username manually but then it doesn't offer to fill in the password when I'm at the password prompt. How can Saved Password for apps be fixed? When I use the saved password in the Firefox web browser it works properly.

If I'm using Private mode and I close Firefox completely. Next time I start up Firefox, it starts up with the Private browsing page. I have to click on the Private icon to switch to Regular mode.

Basically looking for an option to "Always start in Public mode", "Always start in Private mode" or "Always start in Last Close Mode". Is there any way to this as Brave has this type of behaviour.

As the title says, is there a way to edit file's name before downloading it? Any extension or anything? As in, e.g I'd like to download a photo but change it's file name before I do so, so I don't have to go into files app on my phone in order to modify it. (Sorry if it's easy to do and I just can't find it but I'm super new to Mozilla and used Opera Mobile before, which had that option, so I'm used to it)
