So, I have 3 devices I have sync turned on, two laptops, and android phone. Laptops are where I do most of my actual work work, but the phone is where I get ideas and orders and things like that from, so where I do a lot of that stuff from. Now, I know how to open all on the laptops, but, I have only found a way to do this one tab at a time on android.

and I have been slowly opening the tabs one at a time, but i have around 840 tabs left to open.

I know this will severely slow the phone down for a while, while it attempts to do this, but I am more than willing to set my phone down over night for this...

Hi. Why on Android if i open proton email one box in one CART tab. And then i open new tab CART and i want to open another email proton. Diffrent email but the same domian its not posible opning, only one e-mail in two tabs? Why only on Android its not work! On PC is no problem! Why?

OVER THREE YEARS PEOPLE HAVE BEEN DEMANDING THIS. When I tap a link in an app, I want it to open IN FIREFOX. Not some custom tab. Not some special pseudo in-app environment. IN. FIREFOX. EVERY OTHER browser on Android can do this. Don't give me some BS answer about removing Firefox as my default browser, either. That causes it to either open in the app I'm using, or the phone's built-in browser, NEITHER OF WHICH ARE SECURE. If you really care about security, like you're trying to sell us you are, you will fix this yesterday.

I use Firefox with Video Background Play Fix. It worked properly on my old phone, but doesn't work on my current phone. Playing unexpectedly stops sometimes, usually when I launch another app, but sometimes in my pocket.

I tried to add to about:config (in firefox nigtly) browser.tabs.unloadOnLowMemory = false . There is no such option in current version. I tried to add manually, but it didn't help.

Tabs on android app "unload" themselves whenever I minimize the browser I'm 100% sure I've toggled an option to kill apps when they're minized in phone settings, and thus issue only happens with the Firefox browser and nothing else. I have the latest version.

Whenever the app leaves the foreground, even for half a second, or if I switch tabs and then return to the original tab, it refreshes and I lose all the data on it. When I need to copy information to fill out a form, or get a code from a 2fa app, I lose all the the progress. This is driving me crazy and making it almost impossible for me to use Firefox as my main browser. I shouldn't have to restart a whole form because I got a phone call and went to the call screen for a second. Battery optimizations are all disabled.

1. When we press Home button in the app toolbar, It opens a new tab and sends the active tab in background instead of closing the tab. The correct working of Home button is to show Homepage in current tab. For opening new tab, we can use "New Tab" option. Because of this all tabs keep getting stored in background and it's quote irritating.

2. Same for back swipe gesture, the tab gets stored in background instead of closing. For example, I clicked on an Article in Google Feed, it redirects to Firefox, now after reading the article, I swiped back to go back to Google Feed. Now swiping back gesture doesn't close the active tab, instead it stored the tab in background. Because of this too much tabs gets stored in background and need manual effort to remove the tabs.

So, Fix these two features.

I am writing to request assistance with an issue I am encountering on the latest version of the Firefox browser for Android. My goal is to open specified pages in the same tab using Intent from a third-party custom application. However, I have observed that different URLs open in separate tabs, contrary to my expectations. This functionality is crucial for my application.  Issue Background:  I have researched similar issues and found that users have had comparable needs using Browser.EXTRA_APPLICATION_ID. Unfortunately, it appears that Firefox has not fully addressed this functionality. The EXTRA_APPLICATION_ID is a feature that modern browsers should ideally support to enhance user experience and maintain continuity within a single tab. when i have more than 10 pages open the app starts crashing, won't let me go back as well and sometimes just reloads. There were also situations in which he grabbed me without me doing anything. I have about 4-5 extensions (in the photo). I'm using Samsung Galaxy S24, my previous was A52 (I had no problem with it)

Looking for support on searching for tabs on Firefox for Android which is similar to the [version] .

Sorry this is not a question but I can't find a email for Mozilla mobile for android we need a way to make it harder to accidently close a tab and also an option is setting to bringing back said closed tab with a longer time not 3seconds so who ever gets this please send it to a Mozilla worker.

In the past you could send links by long-pressing them and using the context menu to send them to other devices(not the android "share" option)

Why was this removed and more importantly: how do I get it back?

My tabs are being refresh everytime after I left to switch to other tabs then come back. This constantly happening even when I did not open another app, just browsing between firefox tabs. Already play with battery setting in app info and change it to unrestricted and nothing changes. Can anyone help? btw I'm using galaxy tab s6

On Firefox Beta for Android, 113.0b9 (Build #2015947331).

I run 30-40 tabs. Sometimes when I switch to a tab it is no longer on the page I left it at. It is one page back in the tabs history. When I first switch to the tab the URL is briefly correct, and it's as of the Back button was hit. Forward is not an available option.

It does not consistently happen, or I would have better repro steps. Maybe it has to do with the tab being loaded out of memory?

This has been going on for a while now, a few months at least. I figured it would be fixed with subsequent updates but not yet, I have also had no luck searching for anyone else experiencing this bug.

Sometimes I want to close tabs to free up memory but I don't want to close the tab I'm currently using so I have to close all other tabs manually which is tedious.

Perhaps tapping and holding could bring up a menu that says "Close all other tabs" and/or "Close tabs before/after" like on desktop.
