Dark theme or light theme doesn't switch normally on my phone. In the evening light theme still stays on in the search bar and in the settings menu, white font on white background. Daily fix is to manualy set phone to dark/light theme. This didn't happen when the browser had custon themes. Hope this helps and thank you for your awesome work.

When I use the expanded custom for the tab. It makes it to where the screen has this annoying border where it blocks some links and other stuff. Is there a fix that isn't just me switching to the regular one?

I am a long-time Firefox user. I am writing to express my frustration with a specific change introduced in Firefox for Android 149.

First, I want to be clear: the new main menu redesign is a good decision. Moving the core controls to the bottom of the screen, within thumb reach, is the right ergonomic approach, and I appreciate that work.

My complaint is specifically about the new tab tray layout.

In version 149, the Normal/Private/Synced tab selector has been moved to the top of the screen in direct contradiction with the philosophy behind the rest of the redesign. This makes one-handed use significantly harder, requiring an uncomfortable reach. The previous design kept these controls at the bottom, which was ergonomically correct.

I had previously managed to revert this change by removing the 'Android UI Redesign' study under Data Collection settings. Since version 149 has baked the new tab tray in permanently, with the Secret Settings toggles also removed, I am left with no option to restore the previous behavior.

I genuinely want to keep using Firefox it remains my browser of choice. However, if no layout option is added in a future update to restore bottom-positioned tab selector controls, I will be forced to switch to an alternative browser. Not out of spite, but simply because the current layout makes daily one-handed browsing genuinely uncomfortable.

I hope this feedback reaches the Firefox Android product team.

when I browse a Bengali or Bangla language website the word is broken, the fonts are broken. it's not able to read the sentence properly. how it could be solved? there is no Bangla fonts extensions in the community I have checked it.

Can the Android version of Firefox have a built-in setting that allows the system font to be used directly as the default font for web content or the interface?

Usually the mobile version looks the way it should, but sometimes, shortly before an update, it changes its layout to Desktop Mode for a few days at a time. I am not sure why, and the layout usually changes back shortly after the update was made.

Whenever you go from regular tabs to your private ones, or private to regular tabs, the top and bottom margins both grow by about the width of the URL bar. Rotating the phone sideways actually makes it worse, adding bars on the side in addition to the top and bottom ones. The bottom bar will go above the keyboard when you're typing, and so far the only way to get rid of it is restarting the app. It's been affecting me for about a month now; I've attached some examples of how it looks before and after below, and here's some more info about my phone:

Everything is now harder to navigate, the extension tab was easier to use before, now cause a lot of friction, the bookmark tab was only a few centimeters away from the initial tap now is at the bottom of the screen. The old design had perfectly optimize how the user navigate their setting and the redesign had made it worse.

In a recent Firefox update, UI was updated to reflect Material Design. However, some elements aren't displaying as intended. However, the screen with tabs is not displayed on the entire screen (that is, it does not extend into safe zones), although the indents on the screen allow this to be done.

The clickable area of URL bar for Firefox Android is way too small and narrow compared to Chromium based browsers. It's often irritating to accurately tap/click on the tiny narrow URL box area to access search mode. Especially on a regular basis.
