In the recent update, there is a new feature which allowed people to view pdf directly in the browser rather than downloading it. Ever since this was implemented, I am not able to download any pdf, instead it keeps opening up the pdf in another tab which is not what I'm trying to do. Is there a way to fix this?

On some sites Firefox will not play the embedded videos. For example embedded screencast recordings like those used by employee time management platforms eg time doctor. Not sure of the format maybe webm

I can not download anything on my tablad. If I try do download a file (PDF) from my Study programm it opens automatically in the firefox browser. I do not have the option to open the files with a different App (eg. Samsung notes) and if I click on Downloads, it says there are no downlads existing even thou its opend in the browser. 2 months ago it worked fine and and I uninstall the App, put all Settings back to the orgininal and it still does not work. Please help.

My phone is on Android 13 with the latest Firefox update. Under "Crashes" in Settings, there isn't much.

I've been noticing that I was constantly logged in as the world my computer and also that I am logged in on several different devices why? On another note I've always noticed that AT&t Wi-Fi always wants me to log into their Wi-Fi no matter where I'm at and it works why?

How to Request Desktop Site By Default on all tab in the Firefox Android app? I hate to use 1 more browser for this function. FF have speed, security, block ad and I still have to use 2 browser, why @@.

I've been using Firefox Nightly for Android and Firefox for Android for years without issue. I've left Nightly at build 68.5a1 as it has several features that later bulds removed. I sync across all my mobile devices but NOT with my desktop. When a website requires a newer browser version to run, then I switch to plain Firefox.

Today Nightly would NOT open. It opened and pointed to an offline file. I noticed it was marked by "///". I'm sorry I didn't take a screenshot or note the file.

Reading several posts, I removed Nightly, purged the cash and purged the data. Then I reinstalled Nightly from the apk file I saved. While the install went without a hitch, it will NOT permit me to sign in to synch the data saved in all my other devices. It just spins as this image shows.

I read a post indicating a direct url for sign in and tried it. But it only worked for Firefox and NOT Nightly.

How do I resolve this?

Hi, I like a background/wallpaper from the limited edition wallpapers to cutomize home tab in Firefox android, so is there a way to download it or save it and use it as my phone's background aswell? Thanks.

How can the android FF app not have a way of showing progress of downloads? I find this absolutely bizarre, when every other browser does this. It's critical information to have. You have no idea how much has downloaded or how long is left, the downloads window is just blank until it's fully completed downloading an item.

I am using firefox v112.1.0 on a pixel 4a 5g (Android 13).

Websites fail to load about 70% of the time (the progress bar just hangs indefinitely). This isue is present regardless of whether or not I have any extensions enabled.

If I press the "stop loading" button then "refresh" enough times, eventually I'll get lucky and the website will load.

The pdf displays like trash, with letters all crammed together and overlapping (crappy kerning!).

I am on the latest Android firefox as of today (4/27/23).

I'm on version 112.2.0 and I cannot disable the "feature" that haphazardly shoves my history in to groups that have nothing to do with each other but Firefox THINKS are related. The support post I've found discussing this promised there'd be a "disable search groups" option in version 97, but I'm on version 112.2.0, which (for those of you counting) is 5 mainline iterations afterwards. How do I fix this? It's constantly breaking my History.
