When I google and address and the search results appear I want to click on the map and Mozilla to direct me to the Google Maps app. Instead, Mozilla opens the Playstore google for me to download the app which is stupid. The "stay in browser ask me to open the app is selected". Sometimes if I click on the map or directions nothing happens. It s not opening in browser and it s not opening in app either. I am using Poco X3 Pro, Android 13.

As of yesterday (1st Nov 2023), Firefox started reporting "Proxy Server Refused Connection" when trying to browse websites over Wifi.

I have a proxy server configured in my phone wifi settings, and this has worked before, and still works in other apps (Chrome, etc)

Checking with tcpdump on the proxy server itself, I see my phone trying to connect to port 80, rather than the configured port (8000)

Whenever i have tried downloading anything from firefox, it crashes the system and the boot logo appears. These crashes also take a lot of time to recover from. My phone is vivo s1 pro and its running android 12.

Last night I tried to switch accounts on Facebook (webpage, not app) on Firefox on my phone and it wouldn't load. Now I can't get into it at all on Firefox. Every other website I've tried works except Facebook. I've refreshed, cleared the cache, restarted my phone and logged into FB from another browser, where it worked fine. Any ideas?

I need to change the download folder from my phone intern memory to my SD card, but I don't see the option to do it, I've seen forum post of people saying It can be done by entering about:config in the browser, but that doesn't work.

Firefox on Android won't display pop-ups. I've checked privacy setting but there's no checkbox for a popup blocker. Also tried about:config but didn't find any setting to change. Any ideas on how to be sure Firefox is comfigured to allow popups? I participate on a Zoom webinar and can't start Zoom through Firefox so have to use Chrome.

After updating Firefox for Android, my phone started rebooting after downloading any file. This makes it very difficult to use the browser and I had to use Chrome temporarily. The Crashes tab in About Firefox is empty. Firefox for Android is constantly hanging on my Xiaomi MI9 (Android 11). Let's say I open the Firefox, browsing some time, then open another tab and it's hanging. I had to force stop it and restart. This is happening every day multiple times per day. I also noticed that "Share" menu doesn't load anything, neither my devices nor applications, if the Firefox is about to start hanging. If I open any link in a new tab after I see that I cannot share the current page - it will be hanging. It also often starts hanging when I click the URL bar, when I try to copy the URL of the current page. I cannot willingly reproduce the issue. Sometimes it just works great no matter how much I was browsing and how many apps I switched. Sometimes it starts hanging very close after loading the browser. The very usual pattern is the following: I open the browser, start searching something, like "flight tickets", go to some site, and then open any link from this site in a new tab. And it starts hanging. This happens let's say 5-10 times per day. Sometimes it happens every time repeatedly, one after another. But sometimes not. I'm using latest version of Firefox from Play store.

Our team is considering a product for Android GO devices. So we're trying to mount the Firefox app here.

Because Android GO devices are low-end products (= RAM size : 2GB) An app such as Firefox Lite is more suitable than Firefox.

However, I found out that Firefox Lite support has ended. I also found articles mentioning Firefox Focus as a replacement.
