Hi!

Since a few weeks, most of the time, files appear to be downloading but the download never ends nor progresses, even after closing Firefox.

I am also unable to long press and download images from Google search. I need to go to the website where it came from.

When the download works from time to time, the images are not visible in my phone's gallery, even after I try to move them from their mysterious location (apparently just the downloads folder) into a real gallery folder. Similarily, apps don't recognize these pictures neither (e.g. Instagram).

Finally, when trying to access my Downloads from the settings, Firefox crashes systematically. I have been sending all the crash reports.

I saw different threads with similar separate issues, but none of them seems to have been solved yet. I am using the latest available version on the OnePlus 7, with that phone's latest available update installed (Oxygen OS 10.0.9.GM57BA).

Thanks in advance for your help!

Firefox For Android v 82.1.3 installed. When trying to navigate from Google Maps site, the app does not launch into navigation. Instead I am taken to the Play Store to the Navigate Google Maps Go page. I have both Google Maps and Navigate Google Maps Go installed, neither launch. The page in Play Store doesn't start the app.

Chrome does not have this issue. Clicking on navigate on a Google Maps page launches the app into navigation. Tired of having to copy addresses directly into Google Maps. Thank you.

Hello,

When I download an image from Firefox 83.1 on Android 10, it says it is in the directory path `/document/primary:Download/`, and the time is displayed as the current time in UTC, as shown in the first picture. This prevents the image from showing up properly in my phone's gallery.

However, when Google Photos detects the image, the directory changed to the proper `/storage/emulated/0/Download/` and the timestamp is the correct time I downloaded the image in my timezone. The image shows up in the proper location in my timezone.

I've tried disabling extensions and clearing data, same issue. Also tested with Beta and Nightly, both have this issue.

I visit the Copenhagen website weekly to receive and sign up for coupons. After the upgrade I've been unable to select any options on this website. All of the choices and areas to select are jumbled together. I've been forced to use chrome for this task as it doesn't have this problem. Any suggestions?

Hello,

I am using the DataWedge App from Zebra on few devices of ours.

The App is capable to send Actions or Intents to apps by scanning predefined barcodes. I would like to use this feature to control the FireFox App this way. The most important Functions would be.

-Exit all Tabs and reload a fresh one from the Default Startpage settings. (So basically I just need a command for exiting all Tabs or exiting and re-launching FF itself, as the startpage setting already works)

-Load a specific Webpage which is forwarded by the action or intent.

-Please also tell me if and how can I limit the users ability to alter the adress bar - can I lock / grey out the adress bar and setting access somehow?

Thanks so far.

Hi, i figure out a very strange behaviour. I select a hyperlink in Twidere and using Firefox to open this link. After loading the landing page, i could not scroll down the page. My fingertip was not recognized. When i go the same way using Chrome instead, i wont ran into that strange issue. It wont matter, if i use a touchpen or my finger. I also test the finger of a second person (of course I did not hurt this person. The finger remained on the hand *g*). Could you help me?

I tried to do this in different ways: from the address bar and from the file manager but none of these methods worked.

Using Firefox mobile 83.1

Any link opened from the start-page opens in a new tab. Once opened there is no back button in the browser to return to the start-page. What is strange is that the device back/return button works and returns you to the start page but there again any link opened goes to a new tab. The back button should ideally return to the start-page within the same tab, that is what the old firefox would do and what all other mobile browsers still do.

Another thing I feel pretty weird is that any link copied comes up as "fill link from clipboard". That is useful but the option stays even if the link is opened and even if firefox is closed. Basically as long as it stays in clipboard it keeps showing up.

Is these two behaviors expected in the new firefox. Let me know your opinions.

Before upgrading from version 68, as instructed I first removed the master/primary password I'd been using for years. I had thought this was going to be replaced with the phones own biometric fingerprint check.

Now if I open the list of stored passwords via settings option, that is actually the case. But in normal use, when going to a website with a login page, the stored password is just being auto filled in without any kind of security check being asked for. Is that how it's intended to work? If so, in my view it's not very secure at all.

(Yes, I've posted this question once already, but had absolutely no replies. Could some mozzilian PLEASE break off from making all those improvements you keep promising, just to say yes, that's how it's meant to be, we think it's safe, or no, something's not right there. Thanks.)

I almost always have to tap multiple times....like 7 or 8 times ... to get a link to open. This happens on almost all sites...google, mozilla.org, my own site. Responses are immediate if I go into FireFox settings and tap around. Also, all other taps are immediate...like mail, calculator, etc. That includes tapping a link in an email. The page will open with one tap but then any links on the page will take many taps.

The phone is a Sony Model G8441 running Android 9. Build number 47.2.A.11.228
