I have a pixel 6 phone (android) Before the last update to my phone I was able to use the firefox desktop site for WJZZ.com. This is a jazz station that streams music.

The station would play continuously on my phone even after the screen locked. NOW it doesn't.

I've been searching periodically for over a month to figure out what changed, why and how to fix it.

can someone PLEASE help me?!?!?!

YouTube video takes more time than crome to load and YouTube home page feels very laggy and unresponsive. Background play works for 2-3 minutes than it stops. I am not using battery saver. Overall browsing experience feels a bit Cluttered

Basically every time i play a livestream on YouTube, it lags a lot/constantly buffers and when i play it, when i press the live button to go to the livesteam's current time i guess. It just goes back to the previous time in the stream and idk how to fix it. Basically i disabled ublock origin & it still has issues on mobile =( also it sometimes happens on PC but mostly with ublock on. Unfortunately i can't screen record on mobile

I don't use the YouTube app, I prefer to use it via the website. When I do, I usually watch @ 1.25x speed, however, any time I leave the tab, on returning, playback speed reverts to normal time (always) &, sometimes, playback speed indicator will still be @ my selected speed

so I'm listening to a video and it just cuts out when I visit a site and there's no option to go full screen in firefox app I do not want the video cut out that I'm listening to and copy and paste is not working

private vedio or ordinary,,,, all vedio opening after break down continue,,,, even I check my phone , phone network, space all are fine ,,, but this app not working properly, sprey like vedio opening,,,, curser moving continue, so not able see an vedio continually showing arror type moving the net baar icon and the vedeo hanging continuosly

Recently (perhaps the last week) I've had an issue where playing a youtube video in fullscreen doesn't fill the screen, instead having significant letterboxing on sides and bottom, in addition to the small amount caused by 18:9 screen. Can't find setting to fix, tried reinstalling and using without account/extensions.

(On android samsung, using mobile browser) When I use fullscreen mode on the mobile Youtube website, the fullscreen breaks the screen rotation mode when i leave the firefox app and bring it back into focus. It will force (if possible) all tabs currently open into horizontal mode, and I have to navigate back to that youtube page, click the fullscreen button, exit fullscreen, then navigate to other tabs to fix it... temporarily. If I leave firefox again and navigate to the same tab that had the bugged video, it will start to force horizontal orientation again. It does not do this all the time, but it does this often enough while I am watching videos.

I am using Android 15 on Nokia.

When I switch tabs, the media playback on YouTube stops.

The playback also stops when I lock the screen, even though I am on the YouTube tab. Also, the media player doesn't show on the screen most of the times. Even if it shows, pressing the play button doesn't play the media.

Tried all solutions on the internet, with all settings in place. Only this add-on helped https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/android/addon/playback-helper-youtube-vimeo/

I was hoping there will be a native fix, than an add-on.

In Firefox on Android, horizontal YouTube videos display incorrectly in fullscreen—the top of the video is cut off, and a large empty gray space appears at the bottom, while vertical videos work normally.

Android 16. All Firefox versions above 151.0.4 have the same issue where an audio stream is being cut for no reason after a few seconds once the screen is turned off. The expected behavior is to play normally in background.

Error "No video with supported format and MIME type found" when trying to play video in many third-party players in FireFox Nightly. There is no such error in Firefox/Beta; everything works normally. What should I do? I don't want to switch to Firefox; it doesn't have about:config. And in Firefox Beta, there are no options "Enable Isolated Processes with Zygote Preloading (requires restart)" and "Enable Isolated Content Process (requires restart)", which prevent tabs from being loaded in the background. Nightly updates don't help.

Доброго времени суток. Можно-ли, как-то добавить встроенный плеер в мобильный браузер, где были бы стандартные функции перемотки (двойным тапом по бокам либо кружочки с секундами). Тк от сайта к сайту вид плеера меняется, а когда срабатывает стандартный, то функционал там минимальный, из-за чего просмотр длинных видео становится не удобным.

I see a lot that mozilla can't load videos not matter the quality video, or the device or the internet (literally is happening even on my pc gaming) and it's just 8 or 10 seconds when the video starts, not the slower thing that YouTube put to "combat" ad blockers. Is the reproduction of the video itself (like half of the video or 30 seconds, no black screen at all)

Hi, Since the latest update (which added the grouping tabs function), if videos are played in Firefox they no longer connect to the built in Samsung media output controller (Samsung A34, updated to latest software). This means that I can no longer use headphones to eg pause/play which is super frustrating! Any ideas on what's changed and if there is a work around? Many thanks

Can you add YouTube chromium browser feature that swipe down from bottom edge of the video to full screen mode?

When I play a YouTube video, then I don't want it to be landscape Fullscreen. I want it to be portrait full screen mode where I can focus the present video without being distracted by others video thumbnail.

And guys please focus on popular platform to make them free of premium service like YouTube, Facebook and others. That's how you'll get their users who wants to get the premium feature for free like Brave browser focusing YouTube, that's great. But Brave don't have ublock origin extension, that's why I use Firefox. Because Brave Built in ads blocker can't block Facebook ads. Facebook ads only listen the BOSS called ublock origin.
