I-Firefox ye-Android Isithangami Sokwesekwa

Quite à few month ago, after update, my new Firefox for Android does not allow me to access to the print option. I cannot find the page nor the tools options using my mobile. When using edge, chrome or other browser, I still do have this option and therefore able to print pdf copies of the resources I do want to archive. Is it possible to know why these printing options are unaccessible on Firefox using Android ?

New image search. A notification keeps coming up to say it needs permissions. I have allowed all permissions in settings on the browser and in my apps settings. I downloaded the add-on 3 times & not sure what to do with the api file. It does work to search images anyway. If I go to Add-ons in the menu & tap a picture, it does search. Should I set it to URL or clipboard?

I am trying to disable auto-refresh on my tabs when I minimize them, but when I type 'about: config' into the address bar, it just shows search engine results instead of opening it as an actual URL. I have already gone into settings and disabled all search suggestions, and it's still doing it anyway.

What am I supposed to be doing here? I spent tons of time in the support community looking for fixes to my problem and all I found were people telling me to use Nightly, but I don't want to give up basic capabilities like printing etc.

How can I use all addons on firefox android I tried to add a pdf viewer but add button doesn't work and why addons are so limited on android..please help me....

I am not sure this is the right forum to be asking all of the questions below but .. I am starting here and will be guided by your feedback if only some questions can be answered here.

All my questions pertain to Firefox Nightly on Android. 101.0a1 (Build #2015874793) It is my hope that the Q&A might help other users of Firefox Nightly on Android.

1. (generic) Where will I find discussion of or documentation (specifications, user manual, usage notes, self-documenting source code, etc.) for the various Firefox settings accessible via about:config ?
2. (specific) What is the intended use scenario for the media.volume_scale setting?
3. (specific) What is the intended use scenario for the media.default_volume setting?
4. (specific) What is the intended use scenario for the media.hardwaremediakeys.enabled setting?
5. (generic) Is it reasonable to expect that a browser be able to determine either the RMS or Peak loudness of the src for a media element and mute (i.e. set ~.volume=0) if that loudness is above some user specified level? For example:
   • Might there be metadata within the file header that describes loudness just as there is metadata that describes duration?
   • Might parsing just the first 3-5 seconds of the file be sufficiently manageable to estimate loudness without grossly impacting page load-time or grossly taxing the CPU?
   • Might the default action be to set ~.volume=0 until such time as the browser has parsed the entire src to determine actual RMS loudness .. and only then restore ~.volume to user-prescribed maximum permitted volume iff RMS loudness is below a user prescribed threshold? (the bigger the file the longer that media is muted before it can be potentially unmuted!)

I want to know how to use Firefox Multi-Account Containers on Android. I have it on firefox nightly android but if i click on a category it doesn't show anything.

Why is there no Multi-Account containers extension for Android? Honestly I think its an amazing extension for maintaining privacy, and I'd love to have that on my phone.

Before Firefox for Android v100 it was possible to show only pinned sites in the top sites section in the home screen. Now alongside my pinned sites (currently 3) there are 2 rows of 4 sites and 2 pages. All these other sites are pages related to my work, full of test URLs, 500 or 404 pages... and so on. How do I revert it to the old behavior?

So does fire fox just not give a shit whether the app is usable? You've completly stripped.any ability to customize and disable useless "features" that maybe 5% of user want. Are you just trying to go out business? How about returning control to the user. How about reading the app feedback and actually responding to users instead of ignoring us.

I used to be able to place shortcuts that I wanted on the Firefox homepage now it seems to be my history or nothing. Can we go back to allowing customised homepage. I don't want random stuff.

How do I turn off Family Filters in Firefox and Firefox for Android, something is blocking age related content, I didn't set it that way. I can't find any info about this anywhere.

As we know port 10080 has been blocked by many if not all internet browsers and port 10080 is the port that most routers use for their "Guest" SSID access.

I have been told that it may be possible to configure FireFox "Nightly" or "Beta" to allow port 10080 access which is what my router uses for the Guest SSID.

This would be for an Android phone to be able to connect to the Guest SSID on my router using port 10080.

Does Nightly or Beta allow this and if so what are the reconfiguration instructions so I can allow port 10080 access on the Android phone?

When is Mozilla bringing back the "page" feature (or just a "print" command) so that users can print directly from the browser? This missing feature has been noted by countless support requests over the last two years. It's clearly something your user base wants. If Mozilla doesn't want its browser to go the way of Internet Explorer, it needs to listen to its customers.

i have a few websites added to top sites and show on homepage, but after the last update, the history record shows after the top sites.

i need a option to hide the history highlights on homepage.

They worked perfectly, and I now have vim controls in my Android Firefox Nightly (lul :D)

How do I configure the add-on?

The link that would normally take you to the options page (something like "moz-extension://..." just takes you to a new tab page.

Am I in uncharted waters here?:D
