I own a Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 and Samsung Galaxy A42 5G. Neither of these devices has the monospace font Courier New installed. However, when using Chrome, text boxes on websites that use Courier New are displayed in a different monospace font (which I've been unable to identify). On Firefox, they are not. This breaks the appearance of some websites which rely on text being monospaced but don't include "monospace" in their CSS font family.

The obvious fix is to simply install Courier New on the phone and tablet, which I'm working on doing (update: this is much harder than it should be). However, I think Chrome displaying a different monospaced font when the requested monospaced font is unavailable is a good user experience feature, and would like to see it mirrored in Firefox.

To sum it up, I have this issue where opening the app to the homepage and searching something or going to a website will result in the page taking up to 10-15 seconds to fully load. What is weird, though, is that it will not do this if I open another tab and search something. Same thing if I fully close the tab and leave the app, but I go right back into the app to search something, almost like this issue also doesn't happen if I had recently used the app. The second I don't use it for a while, though, the problem happens again. Is there a fix for this? I've tried force stopping the app, clearing the cache, and uninstalling/reinstalling, but it still happens. I checked my internet speed, and everything is fine on there. I also checked how fast other apps load, and they load normally. What is going on? This is very frustrating.

I am using the Firefox browser on my Gs23, and it hangs all the time and needs a restart. It also has frame drops,while scrolling on websites I have checked it on other browsers and the frames are not dropped.

HELP! My mobile data usage spiked as of June 20th and has continued at unprecedented levels almost every day since. My historic daily usage for the past many years has been around 4 MB and is now 95MB. and busting through my 2GB/month limit. This is ALL due to Firefox! What happened? Something strange happened on June 19th, when my mobile date usage recorded three separate usage figures instead of the single usage figure for all days previously. June 19th showed 2 usage figures and June 30th showed 3.

Since version 115 I am having problem with some of our gmail accounts. It is stuck on loading more emails with the loading circle. Reverted to version 114 and no problem.

as subject, firefox is useless on my new Android 10 tablet now as it displays blank page for most sites, am using the lastest android version.

When I am downloading videos, I can't use my keyboard. I can press on a space to type, like the address bar, and it'll pull it up, but then it'll kick me off of the bar and my keyboard will go down immediately. I added a picture for the bar I'm talking about. It kicks me out of anything that I can type in, but only if it's in firefox.

I have a "Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G". It's One UI has a pop-up view that shows app in a floating window. However when I enable pop-up view for Firefox, it becomes an unusable black window. when I return it to normal view it still remains in black and the only way to make it usable is to close the app and then reopen it.

As far as I know This was happening in Andriod 12 and OneUI 5.0 and in Andriod 13 OneUi 5.1.

Title. On Android 11. Firefox 115.2.1. After visiting a link it doesn't gray out. Looks like I have never visited it. Restarting Firefox will sometimes gray it out. Have not fiddled with settings. Fixes?

Add a feature where when we make a tab desktop site, that tab no longer goes into phone mode. I have been using fire pox for a long time due to some issues I use chrome with it.If you can fix the problem we will use firefox a lot more and it will be great for you please update your app.I am giving some heels that are very useful to fix Fix the issue of repeatedly displaying the desktop site while browsing Firefox so that once the desktop is moved, it does not automatically switch to another mode.If the page does not zoom automatically, we can use Firefox very well on the phone.ই I am adding a screenshot that shows well that when working on google set the page is zoomed so much that I can't work. in this case, when I try to open ao3 from gmail links, the website just gets stuck loading (the lock symbol also has a slash across it). i try to open link in Firefox but same problem. (im on mobile btw)

i can access the same webpage just fine if i find it by searching manually in Firefox though

other website links work fine, and this problem only started maybe a few days ago

I can sign onto Qatar Airways account. I can't with the other it just keeps looping back with no notifications. I can sign in on my app and my laptop and Google but not Firefox thankfully i don't have to rely on Firefox. Imagine i was traveling and needed access. You've gone down hill this year. Always freezing or not loading, having to rewrite my search. I've cleared cache, used desk top etc. It's not just this, it's every day something doesn't work

When starting Firefox there is an almost 5 min. delay. What can I do to eliminate this delay? This started a few months ago. I have been using firefox for several years with no problems until now. Thks.

Install often does not work nearly as well as the web page. For example, spelling bee "installed" on my Samsung tab A7, has difficulty accepting taps. Only about 1 in 3 taps will register a letter. On my brand new Pixel 7A, the spelling bee app is not in dark mode, even though it is in the browser. And my entire phone is dark mode. Also, I can't click on the share or overflow menus. Installing the New York times games page has the same problems. And last, on my pixel 7a, the USGS earthquakes app jumps around all over the place making it useless. It would be nice to have both options, "install" and "add to home screen" in case the install fails.

After connecting a bluetooth headset and using Firefox (115.0a1 (Build #2015950435), 1d9511bcc3 + this version so far) to play online video is obviously lagging, not audio and video is not synchronized, is to play a moment to get stuck in a frame like this. My own troubleshooting revealed a problem with Firefox and the encoding format selected for the headset. Currently 1 the problem is only in bluetooth audio encoder selection acc (lhdc also have the problem but the symptoms are not as serious as aac) and triggered in firefox, other browsers can not be reproduced, test redmi k40 and xiaomi 13p also can not be reproduced. 2 after the screen recording is turned on, the problem is obviously lagging. 2 The problem disappeared after turning on screen recording, the screen recording parameter is 1280x720@60 at 32mbps, and the audio source is recorded in the system. Play the video first and then open the screen recording lag disappeared, first start screen recording after playing the video lag does not appear. And no matter what kind of situation screen recording stops lag recovery.

Hi Folks: I am a Clinical Counselor who is reinstating his license and intended to use a SAMSUNG tablet as a convenient IT resource. Unfortunately the results are less than stellar so I have reverted to my DELL LATITUDE E4300 running WINDOWS 7 as my dedicated professional IT. If there had ever been issues before, I blew them off, but I am now overwhelmed by what I am running into bringing this beast into the 21st Century. Yes I have YAHOO Mail but can easily let that go if I have to in favor of GOOGLE g-mail. The two single biggest issues are that I am on FF for much time and it continually comes up un-responsive. The other issue is that I have found an incompatible program using Troubleshooting but I am unable to find-out what that incompatibility is.

My intended out-come is simply to have a FF-based system that I can depend on as it seems to me to have always been the least encumbered browser and I am not in need of much of the bells-and-whistles other folks seem to need. It would be a blessing if someone could just point me in the right direction. BTW: On the IT Competency Scale I am about a Four.....:-)
