Hi. For the past few months I have been unable to play any samples from the Audible website in Firefox on my android phone. When I click the word "Sample" Audible opens up a new tab with their Web player and I always get an error message that is just a rectangular box with an exclamation mark inside a triangle on the left side of the box. (Screenshot attached.) There are no words inside the box and the only option is to close the tab. Since there is no actual message I'm not sure what the problem is.

Playing samples used to work fine when you could play them within their web page before Audible changed its system. I seem to be able to play samples on Audible's Web player in Chrome, but would prefer to keep Firefox as my default browser. I have tried deleting all history, cookies and cache; closing and reopening Firefox; turning phone off and starting again after an hour. I've also tried enabling autoplay, but that made no difference. I was thinking that the issue may be with my other settings within Firefox, but I can't tell. Any help you can provide would be great. Using android Firefox I have no clue but I have been experiencing this weird lag for a long time now I always have used Firefox for along time and plan on to continue unless this problem re occurs too much.

Is there a reason why this is happening?

Sometimes there is like a 10-30 seconds lag spike for me to even use my keyboard?

I have a custom site on my ISP's webspace that can be access via an https:// link. Firefox for Android (129.0.2) on my new phone (Samsung a35, Android 14) says that it's not secure, which means I frequently have to go though the not secure>advanced>accept risk process.

The problem is that this is literally the only browser instance I have that thinks it isn't secure. Chrome, on the same device, says it is, Firefox for Android thinks it is on two other devices. Firefox for Windows thinks it is. I can find no other browser on any device or platform that thinks there is any problem.

Any hep appreciated.

When playing YouTube videos in full screen using

Firefox: the gear button and the "restore screen size/exit full screen" button are nonfunctional (nothing happens when I tap on them).

Google Chrome browser: the gear icon button is nonfunctional.

DuckDuckGo browser: the gear icon button is non functional.

Opera browser: the gear icon button is non functional.

This problem started about a week and a half ago.

There is a behavior change for my android installation.

When presented with a login/password web page, I no longer get type-ahead/autofill select option, instead I now only get a key symbol and passwords string.

When I started typing my username, I use to get a marquee with history of matching strings that I could select from, now its just a password/key button

logins and passwords -> autofill is disabled, save logins is "never save"

autofill is enabled.

I'm not particularly looking to autofill, just get back the type-ahead selections and get rid of the password button that replaced it, so I don't have to type my entire username everytime.

Any suggestions?

I'm using a Samsung 9s ultra tablet. I have an order form from my company downloaded on Firefox. I have been using this form on my tablet for a year now. All of the sudden one of the fields quit working. The column with the totals (This column adds the totals) will not let me type in a number. It will let me type in other charaters, no numbers. I tried to reset and reinstall. I downloaded the form several times. This order form still works fine on my laptop. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you

All videos have been stuttering on the Firefox app on my S24 ultra, and it only occurs after the video buffers or I play the video after pausing it. The video will stutter and play as if it is a 5fps video, with no audible effects on the audio itself. The video will stop stuttering when I mute it, or after I fast forward/backwards. After I do either of the two, my video goes back to not stuttering and it plays smoothly again.

I suspect the issue is related to the audio video sync on Firefox on Samsung devices. I've tried to replicate the same issue on my Xiaomi devices, but they just do not persistently stutter like on my Samsung phone. All they do is stutter for a few seconds, then continue the video smoothly.

Not sure what the issue is exactly, and is there a possible fix to make the video never stutter at all? This has been pretty persistent, happening even when I had my S21 ultra years ago.

I'm using the latest Firefox 128.0.3 on Facebook Samsung galaxy S24+ which should have built in web translation. However I have no translation controls, neither in the address bar or the menus.

How do I access this feature?

As the title says, I got a problem with Android version of Firefox that sometimes on some webpages it just hangs and doesn't load the page at all. While it's hanging there if i try to open extension settings it doesn't even load that, just opens blank page. Only way around it is to close tab and try again later. Sometimes i can just close tab and on next try it works, sometimes it just doesn't. I've had same issue with PC version of Firefox and it seems to be fixed after disabling HTTPS over DNS. On Android I've tried changing network.trr.mode to 5 but with no luck. Also ive tried disabling extensions and changing some options but whatever I do it just still keeps happening. Btw its a new install after years of not using Firefox, perhaps because of the same issue.

The browser itself works in 120 Hz, but if you open any page, the phone switches to 60 hz. However, if you open, for example, the keyboard, 120 Hz is enabled again. This makes using Firefox uncomfortable. I have attached screenshots that show my problem.

I have disabled navigation toolbar as soon as it was turned on, as it wastes a significant amount of screen height to expose controls I need rarely enough I prefer them in the menu. Suddenly, pull to refresh has stopped working, unless I go and turn navigation toolbar back on in secret settings, which is frustrating, as I need it more without navigation toolbar and might in theory need it less if I was inclined to use navigation toolbar. I can't sign in to my GTB accounts with my password. The error message has always been like this:"connection is insecur" What can I do to allow me have the benefits of accessing my GTB accounts.
