Hi, I am using Firefox Mobile on my Samsung Galaxy S4 i9505 with Samsung Android 4.3. I keep getting a notice that Firefox has stopped or stopped red. I forget which. There is a choice whether to report or not. After this Firefox is closed. It's very annoying How to solve this?

Password managers (specifically LastPass) do not work with the newest version of Firefox on Android. LastPass support confirmed the problem was with the new Firefox version.

I would like this to be fixed. I really need to be able to use autofill.

Local Storage is not stored value. Wrote a simple example. It shows the current value of 'LS'. Went clicked in the monitor. The value of 'LS' has changed . Closed the browser - opened and the value 'LS' is not preserved.

When trying to download anything the download apparently begins, since a notification appears on the notification panel, but it just does not properly start. It keeps trying but no progress is shown. After a while a failure message replaces the progress notification.

This isn't a network problem, since I've tried it with different connections. There used to be no problem before.

Anybody else experiencing a similar issue?

I installed Firefox on Droid X using latest software OS update and Google Play to install. Browsed to a story on m.fanfiction.net and read 5 chapters. According to the OS monitor, the app used 43% of the full battery charge in this time. Using the standard browser provided on the phone, I use about 15% of the battery in the same time. What exactly is Fire fox doing while I am scrolling through a mostly text page?

Hi! Why does Firefox for Android will not play mp3? For example the tracks on this page do not play http://audiobook-online.com/?page_id=33 . Firefox for windows plays mp3.

I've seen this in the past but don't remember the cause and solution. Samsung had this issue once, and from what I've seen on the internet, the solution was to disable Android web preview, but that's not working. This problem just started on my Moto G4 Android, only in Firefox, only on certain websites where text is entered into forms. It isn't happening on this website. It isn't happening in Chrome or other apps. I've cleared temporary data, restarted the phone, disabled options in settings, but none of that worked Example: if i begin to enter, let's use "Walking is good," the result is "Walking is goodW." If I am swiping to enter, the result is "is goodWalking." The error causes the affected text to reappear in front of the cursor. Highly inefficient and a real time killer!

Dear all, I am facing two serious bug issues: 1) on many www pages I am facing serious issue (e.g. www.makezine.com , but also on almost all others I was browsing). After approx 20 sec to several minutes firefox browser close itself and home android page appear. There is no error message at all 2) once I copy any text outside firefox browser, then I not end it to any text field on Web page opened under firefox browser, there is no way to paste it

Is Firefox not support correct UTF8?

I try to play with it already. I found: Settings->Display->Character Encoding = Show menu Then I go to Character Encoding (appear after finish above setting) It says Unicode UTF-8 but I think it's not Because it show general square character in all page of Thai language website (with UTF8 work on PC) including 'google' result. I also try beta because I found someone says beta is work with my language. But it seems it's already changed now because it's all square when I try it.

Is some range of character in UTF8 is missing? or am I must setting something else?

Since two or three updates Firefox crashes always 1 or 2 seconds after starting the app.

I've tested it also with the beta 20.0b7 apk... it's always the same... start the app - 1 or 2 seconds later I'm back on the home screen.

Is a fix for this problem on this phone in sight? Cause I really like the firefox browser and really dislike to use some of the other browsers in the store...

Well in android google chrome, uc browser i can watch hotstar videos on there website without downloading there app, its only with android firefox that i am facing this issue.

Every site I try to load has the warning in the attached screenshot. Im trying to switch from chrome to Firefox permanently but I get this error on literally every website I try except Firefox.com.

It's literally the only thing preventing me from using Firefox permanently on desktop and Android.

I understand it's because it says https but even on chrome I connect to every site with https and I rarely ever see a warning.

Also Google is automatically sending any email from Mozilla into the spam folder which seems... Anti trust to me.

Firefox will revert a number of settings to their default values every few days. When this happens, the "Firefox stats and data" message will appear in the Android notification area. This is with a clean install; no extensions, no plugins, no about:config changes that are not exposed in the settings menu.

on 10/16/14 started quitting on any website. no crash notice. App just quits. uninstalled on 10/17/14 and reinstalled with no add-ons from Google Play Store No change - Firefox runs as long as it is not connected to the web. Shows history - bookmark - etc. Soon as it connects on the internet it quits. Connecting via wireless network. I have uninstalled it so I can use the internet

please advise when this is corrected. and I will re-install

I had a «deprecated» sync account on an android phone (and on a linux lap as well). Then I bought a new android phone which asked me to create a new account. This is the moment I learned there was a new «method». So I googled how to do the transition, but FF simply keeps crashing every time I try to sync. I guess that it has to do with 4.2.2 (thl T11) because it crashes over and over regardless of the «account» (two of which I created and verified ex professo). I can smoothly sync with other computers.

I have been experiencing a problem on my HTC one x where images downloaded through firefox for android will not behave properly in my phone. Attempts to attach pictures to text messages are met with a pop up saying "unable to attach media".

Inspecting the details of these pictures in the gallery app showed that the file type field is blank (hence being unable to attach it to a mms, another symptom is that gifs display as a still image of the first frame of the gif). Inspecting these pictures using a file browsing app shows that they all have the correct extensions for their file type. Renaming the pictures (without changing the extension) within the file browser seems to fix the problem - their file type shows up correctly within the gallery app, pics can be sent via mms and gifs become animated.

I am only experiencing this issue with firefox, the same images downloaded with different browsers all work perfectly - i dont have to rename them to get my phone to recognize them properly.

The problem may have something to do with the method that firefox uses to download files - every file i have downloaded using other browsers shows up in my phones stock "downloads" app, while files downloaded through firefox do not (it keeps its own list within the app itself)

Any ideas as to the cause of this problem?

The fix of 30th Dec https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1038039 got Flash working again, but there is another issue. When trying to play a video that will run without Flash, Flash tries to run, and Fx crashes every time. This happens every time if Flash is set to "enabled" or "tap to play" in Settings. To play these videos, Flash has to be "disabled" in Settings.

This happens in Fx v33.1 and v34.0.1, so maybe an issue that has been around for some time.
