I would like to request that you urgently add more languages to your roster for translation especially Japanese! I would think that this day and age these language was would be fairly easy to add since there's so many different libraries and this has been done and is offered on so many other browsers. My otherwise really enjoy your product and would like to offer my gratitude and appreciation for Mozilla Firefox and the effort and work you guys have put in. Quality product keep up the good work!

Secondly, the issue of the subject LANGUAGE. Unfortunately, in the language installation section I found several other languages including the Arabic. However, I failed to find the Urdu language which is my mother tongue and also the language, at least 1.8 billions of people.

Therefore, I kindly request to please get it added. Once again, to each one of you the most happiest new year 2026.

When I try to use Firefox for Android on my Pixel cell, most prompts and other text show up in Bangla instead of English. I don't speak Bangla, and only found out what it was when, at the Google Play store, I found a "translate" prompt. When I clicked on it, the reply came, "Sorry, we don't support Bangla yet." I was then directed to "choose another source language." Yet when I clicked on the dropdown, four results were listed, all of them similar-looking Asian words that meant nothing to me. In effect, I am left without access to my browser, except by luck if I happen to guess right about how to get to where I want to go. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks!

I accidentally hit something in Firefox that changed my language for directions to another language, so I cant see choices to delete my cache, history, etc.. Already made sure my language in settings is English. Thanks for your help.

Dear Firefox Team, I have used Firefox for many years, but the built-in translation feature remains unnecessarily complicated. Every time I must manually select source and target languages, as if defaults and user preferences do not exist. This is not a technical problem, but a basic UX failure already solved by competing browsers. If this trivial but daily issue continues to be ignored, I will unfortunately be forced to stop using Firefox. Please make translations remember language pairs and default to the user’s language. The browser recognizes Russian on the website as English and automatically translates it into "Russian," but what it actually produces is a jumble of letters that are neither Russian nor English. Essentially, the browser is translating from Russian—which I don't need to translate, since I'm from Russia—into an incomprehensible, non-existent language. And I can't turn off automatic translation of Russian because it's not available. There's a toggle switch: "Never translate English," but that doesn't work for Russian. You can click "Never translate this site" on the website itself, but the problem is that it's for a single website. It means I have to turn off translation and reload the website every time I visit a Russian-language website. This is very inconvenient. I ask you to add an option to disable translation of an entire language, not just English or a specific website.
