I-Firefox ye-Android Isithangami Sokwesekwa

For over a decade, mobile users have had no addons for browsers (including Firefox,) how much longer will this last? There are like 10 sponsored addons (out of 10 million for desktop) that install, the rest only let you download the .xpi file (with nowhere to put the file.) Where is the mobile Firefox extensions folder to put the .xpi files for mobile Firefox? I have been waiting for over a decade for such basic support, I am about to abandon Android forever.

Hi. I downloaded the latest issue of Firefox (104.0.1) to my mobile phone and since then I have been unable to connect to the internet via 4/5G - but it is OK using wifi. This is highly annoying when I need to connect whilst out and about. Weirdly, the calculator on the phone and Samsung Notes have also disappeared and I am unable to download from the Play Store! All the usual things like rebooting, cleaning caches etc do not work. Is it possible to roll back to an earlier version? Any ideas would be useful, given the lack of phone contact available, thanks

Hi, I installed Firefox on my computer and imported my passwords from a csv file (exported from Opera). The passwords were imported correctly and I can see them on my computer, but they are not showing in Firefox on my smartphone with Android. I am logged in to my Firefox account on both, computer and smartphone, and I have Sync for Logins enabled. From what I can see, there is no way to import the passwords from csv file on Android. What else could I do?

I had to replace my Android phone and send the old one in. I had the google cloud backup activated + used the transfer data and apps function when migrating (Android to Android). However, it seems like my bookmarks are gone, I guess there is no way to get them back. Is this correct behavior?

I understand that there is Firefox sync and save feature (which I use on my personal device). However my understanding was that migrating phones with the "copy apps & data" function should migrate things seamless without having to worry about custom logins in each app. Did I do something wrong? Or is this understanding wrong? If so, would this be different in ios (this was a very painful experience that I don't want to repeat)?

I'm using Linux and the distrib has inclueded ff 91.12. It has remote debugging in it. I would like to try it but I see I have to install this version of android ff to my device to work.

Where can I found safe/virus free older versions?

I have android-sdk/android studio installed to Linux and works well. Can I download ff android source somewhere or isn't it open source?

I just update Firefox on my Samsung Tablet, and it was a terrible mistake. Not only did it lose all of my bookmarks, but now I can't open separate tabs. Yes, it SAYS it still allows tabs, but be real - if I can just click on it, it's not a 'tab' it's another window. I use tabs precisely because I don't want to spent my valuable time hunting for the window I need.

I tried several ways to downgrade, and none of them worked. Can someone please help me revert to the last version of Firefox that had real tabs, not this stupid 'Tab Tray'? I'm pretty sure the the book marks issue is hopeless, since I have no interest in syncing my computer and my tablet, but an suggestions on that would be welcome too.

I recently upgraded my Phone and now using Android 12. I logged into my Mozilla account using my email address successfully so it seems but now my saved collections have disappeared..What's interesting is that now when I look and my profile ID it shows a different user name. What can I do to recover my account etc ? Not sure what the issue is here.

Was painstakingly transferring my collections of bookmarked links from my old Android phone to my new one (please fix this so entire collections can be moved as one, rather than individual components). Not halfway through yet; all was going well, and suddenly I got the message "Unable to send - Retry." Multiple tries; no further success. Nothing had changed re the wifi connection for either phone. Hoping this is something simple.

Before I update my tablet, I wanted to know if my tabs were going to look like they do on my phone or stay the same. I prefer the more "PC" look on my tablet. Screenshot attached for example of them all at the top. If not, what can we do? Thanks!
