Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra running latest Android update and latest Firefox update. I set Firefox as my default browser. I have un-installed all updates for Samsung Internet and removed all permissions for it. Disabling it is greyed out. Some apps that I use have links to websites. Too frequently, when I go to one of those links, the intro screen for Samsung Internet opens. Then, when I look at the settings in Firefox it is no longer set as the default. Then I set Firefox to default and go to my phone settings to see that Firefox is selected as the default. If I open the previously mentioned app and choose the web link, Firefox will open. But somewhere along the way, the default changes back to Samsung Internet and it's a vicious circle. I have posted in a Samsung forum but haven't gotten a reply that solved the problem. Please help. I've been using firefox for 20 years and never experienced problems with webpage display until I started using it on my new phone samsung s23 ultra.

More often some webpages will not size correctly with my screen and is cut off so I have to switch to chrome.

Is this a bug?

I am trying to sync my desktop Firefox data to my Android phone, a Samsung Galaxy S21+. In every help topic I read, it says to click the three dots on Android, go to settings and click "Sync and save data," then click "Ready to scan" and scan the QR code provided from my desktop account. The issue I am running into is that the "Sync and save data" option does not exist on my Firefox Android app. If I click on my profile on the phone, I can click "Sync" but it doesn't do anything. It does not work if I try to scan the QR code through the phone camera instead. I am at a loss for how to sync my Mozilla account on these two devices. My Firefox app is up to date. If anyone can help me I would appreciate it.

Good morning. I recently changed smartphone, activating Firefox Sync between both devices, making sure that the old one didn't have the setting that makes open tabs inactive. Now after a week I don't see anymore synchronized tabs with the old smartphone. How can I solve it? Thanks, Phil.

Home screen might be considered a specialized bookmark I suppose but the categories don't directly apply above. Browsers for decades have allowed a custom Url to be entered or "use current page" as home screen. I can find no option under firefox settings for Android enter it. What's the trick?

I picked last tab but that isn't the same as a fixed URL such as my bank website or Facebook page I would always want to see first.

The + button in the menu that normally opens a new tab doesn't work anymore. The only way to open a new tab is by hitting one of the buttons on the top that normally show the history. When I press the + button either nothing happens or some Chinese add will load, and that ad takes me to a jd.com link that actually doesn't load. I have tried installing a virus scanner, clearing the cache, and reinstalling, but it didn't help. I am using an oppo find x2 pro and am living in China if that helps.

I had Firefox on my Samsung A8 tablet. I was having a problem with it so I called Samsung Tech. They told me my problem was Firefox because it is a third party program. Samsung suggested I use only Google. What is your opinion on this?

Yesterday the option to make Firefox my main browser turned on on my Android phone. It won't let me turn it on. I have Google on my phone, but I never updated it, I updated myself yesterday, I can't turn it off. I also have a MI browser that is disabled. When Fitefox is not my main browser, I cannot add web shortcuts to the start screen, and I use it all the time and miss it a lot. What should I do to restore the option to make Firefox my main browser? I used to have Google but now I don't know what's going on? Help me please!!!

I'm following instructions on computer. On Android I can't find 'sync and save data' option as instructed. I tried finding it in three dots and in settings as well. I'm signed in on both devices with the same email.
