I-Firefox ye-Android Isithangami Sokwesekwa

I use corporation's websites to find its workers phone numbers. Websites for all regions around the country have the same layout but sometimes frames with names, adress and phone numbers are individualy designed.

I use mobile browser on Galaxy S series smartphones. When I mark phone number it is not recognized by any dialer. When I try the same on other browser i.ex. Brave it recognize it without any problems. No matter how web frame is designed.

I guess this is an issue for Mozilla developers to check out. Personally I dont see any custom settings to change it.

How to disbale most visited websites get automatically added in homepage of Firefox android browser ?

I kept shortcuts option enabled to add shortcut manually as per user choice. I don't want browser to add most recently visited websites to get add as shortcuts in tile form in homepage of firebox browser.

Is there any config to disabled for this issue ? Please help

Using Firefox mobile for android and GBoard.

I've selected Firefox as my auto fill service.

A few official apps (at least one banking app, for example) that I've downloaded from the play store that report the following after I unlock and select the correct password:

"Firefox could not verify the authenticity of the application. Do you want to proceed with autofilling the selected credentials."

I can't seem to find any other report of this error so I'm curious what's going on.

I recently purchased a new Mac Book Pro. After migrating my data from my old one I noticed that when using Firefox my Facebook account was not working properly. I no longer could access my own page or the pages of friends. However, I could access some group accounts I'm associated with. On Safari, everything works fine. I suspect something must have been compromised during the data migration.

I deleted the Firefox app from my new computer and then reinstalled it but to no avail. When I'm in Facebook and try to access my page I get an error message. My OS system to up to date and apparently my Firefox is up to date as well. Any suggestions? Thanks

Every day as far as I can remember, when I clicked on on The Fire Fox symbol I got a page of my favorites. This morning, and all day I get an Xfinity page. What happened, and how is it fixed? Xfinity says it's not their fault it's Fire Fox's problem

I have firefox for android, and I have ublock origin, which is great.

However, firefox seems to refresh constantly- even if I minimize it than return instantly- it automatically goes into a refresh mode, it refreshes randomly while scrolling- I wish I coudl completely turn this "feature" off across all browsers.

I cannot state how many times I have lost VITAL data from this annoying random refreshing.

It should be an option to completely disable refreshing of ANY kind, rather than forcing it down our throats, and losing time, and data. If I want to see new content I will refresh it myself/ re enable the option. I was hoping this ridiculous "feature" would be phased out when humanity pulled its head out, but apparently- it's gotten even worse, now.

I'm not sure why, sometimes the status bar clock and stuff do hide, but I just can't seem to figure out how to get them to hide every time, and they usually don't. I've already tried disabling picture in picture for the app but that isn't noticeably helping. Full screen video is supposed to hide those, right? What are the reasons it wouldn't?

Hi there, Looking at pcapdroid and adguard DNS, Firefox on my android phone is constantly connecting to xxxxx.ingest.sentry.io.

Why does it do this? I get sentry is a crash reporting tool(?) however I have everything diagnostic wise turned off. I don't really mind but not having an option to disable this is a bit strange. Also why does it need to connect so often, even without a crash or error? I have over 50 attempts/connections logged in last 3 hours alone.

I was a bit surprised that I found some mozilla kraken benchmark 1.1 results that were somewhat better than mine (despite being done on the same mobile SoC as mine)

I then read closely that the better score was made on the Chrome Mobile browser.

I then installed Chrome on my mobile and also suddenly got results which average were about 25 - 28 % better than when I ran Kraken in Firefox Is that to be expected? Or can I do something to make my firefox just as fast?

I'm seeing glitches when scrolling on some sites, eg. google.com, orange.pl. I checked other browsers - chrome and Samsung internet (so based on chromium) and there seems to be no problems.

Hi I've been having an issue with adding bookmarks lately. I have a lot of Bookmarks as such I use a lot of bookmark folders, often multiple folders within one another.

The issue I have is that when I add a new bookmark on mobile Firefox displays all Bookmark folders all at once leading to a lot of scrolling in order to get to a specific folder. This can lead me to several minutes of searching as I try to find a specific folder.

This could be solved by implementing a drop down box to hide folders within folders.

When i try and accept an e-transfer using Firefox, I'm getting an error message "Application error: a client-side exception has occurred (see the browser console for more information". I've always been able to accept e-tranfers in the past.

On the Firefox Android app, after closing few tabs, exiting the application and re-entering the application, the closed tabs reappears as if they weren't closed at all. I found this is a well known bug and there are few open threads on bugzilla on this topic. Someone said that's related to a corruption of the closed tabs' json file.

PS. It's difficult to share a screenshot, probably a video is more explanatory

Whenever I use Firefox the UI image elements will become oversized making everything squished. I have provided pictures of the incorrect display and what it looks like on my default browser fir reference.

Any website that uses OscillatorNode and other similar features has the audio generated devolve into a crackly mess after only a second or two.

I have Firefox on my Windows 11 desktop computer. As of today, I cannot see my Firefox on my Android smartphone. The problem started when I saw that my computer desktop Firefox would not automatically update. When I tried to update manually, I lost my ability to use my Android Firefox. Don't know what to do next.

My computer restated itself with an update. Now Firefox and all my bookmarks and saved log in info is gone. I normally can solve this by simply logging in and syncing from my phone. Firefox will not open a log in page from any of the icons on any Firefox page. I can log in using Chrome but of course sync from there is not possible. I can log in on my phone also. The problem is either my Mac settings or the Firefox settings on that computer. I have searched FAQ etc. No clear solutions can be found.
