I can't remove or disable search engines associated with companies that commit grave human rights offenses through the Settings menu on Firefox for Android. What are my other options? Firefox has become literally offensive. Alternately, what are some free open source browsers that don't force these on me?

My girlfriend lives in New York And I live in Iowa. Now she's on vacation in Nigeria. I've been trying to find a room or a place where we can have a Web chat. Is it legal for Mozilla to allow Facebook to monopolize the entry of community comments or feedback regarding the zero percent Credit Card offers? I have 3 of the cards offered to the public and want to share what happens with credit card billings where balance transfer/s have occured so that those seeking the credit card woukd know to expect as none of what I wish to contribute is nasty or inflamatory. And I do not nor will subscribe to any Social Media such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Skype and etc. Facebook is trying to force persons wishing to respond to logon to their website after writers try to leave a comment! That's a "no, no, and no! Facebook dies not iwn Mozilla (mobile phone messaging) or the advertising messages presented by the banks. I'll be danged uf they are going to hornswaggle me into owning my public comments as Between my spouse and self are responsible credit card holders for six of the cards!! Hi Could anyone suggest me, how can I configure Firefox on Android to open supported URLs in local applications by default (immediately on page opening, instead to manually touch special button)? Will be perfect, if we can set this option only for some URL patterns/apps

I tried to search in about:config with "app", "extern", "open" but fail on it =(

I just got the new Google Nexus 4 and have been running Firefox mobile as my primary browser but I have recently discovered a problem. When I download a file (such as a PDF) off of a site to read with Android's quickoffice, no file goes into Android's downloads app. I assumed the file was only bring temporarily bring downloaded for a one time view but when I tried this same process with Chrome mobile, a file was put in the downloads app. I installed a third party for browser for my phone and looked in the downloads folder it showed for my phone and discovered the files I had been downloading with Firefox in it. It seems Firefox doesn't display files downloaded in the downloads app provided with Android which is a problem because that means without a third party for browser, you can't get rid of them. (Petty for sizes but they would eventually fill your phones storage). Is a downloads folder provided with Firefox? Can the downloads be viewed in the stock downloads app?
