Hello. With the latest updates on some sites, it became impossible to select text. Example: http://darkside.ru Before, long press contributed text and suggested ways - copying, select all, etc. Now it cannot be done on darkside.ru. Checked on other browsers, everything works. Fix please. Don't want to leave FireFox because of this.

It would be cool to make the transition between open tabs by scrolling left/right, like in the Yandex.browser for example.

Where can I get the apk for FF Android 79? Which will run the old addons like Adblock Plus. 68 won't. As usual Mozilla fucked up my phone with their stupid updates. Privacy indeed, all the telemetry is prechecked. They screwed up everything with their stupid improvements. I want an FF that will not update automatically

As one of what seems to be the majority of users that totally despise the horror that is the new version and refuse to use it. What is the best APK version and source to get.

After deleting FF entirely from Android I have succumbed to reinstalling APK68.1.1 as the other browsers, not as bad as new FF, were still poor. Now FF is withdrawing support for 68 so I need to dare a little newer. The update immediately before the new version also messed up the browsing language i.e. using the language of the country you are in (I'm an expat, I can speak the language but cannot read the script), the old fixes for this no longer work.

Your best recommendations please.

2) Want to update without loosing my settings, add-ons, etc.

3) Go to Mobile manual update page

4) Manual update page directs to FireFox button top of page

5) Directs to go to 'Help'

  -Which Does NOT Exist

6) Despite erroneous info that auto update 'will start immediately'

  -that action does NOT occur

7) Why doesn't Mozilla check that their stuff actually works and support info is correct & Across ALL Available Platforms

8) Firefox is already the Slowest browser and uses vast amounts of memory. Yet Mozilla still can't get something as Simple as automatic update correct, WHY?

To install Firefox on my phone I must first accept these permissions.

I have stopped using Facebook Apps and many Google products because they what this sort of contol and basically I don't trust them. Why do so many apps need such spying power? and where can I download an old version of Firefox.android that pre dates this control freaky version? After all it used to work just fine without. Does Mozilla have an approved way of getting Firefox for Android users who have a build without the Play Store? For example, /e/ or other flavours of degoogled LineageOS?

Previously (for example, when this question was asked in 2017: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1164894) the APKs were available from mozilla.org.

However that no longer seems to be the case with v79 and higher releases. What's the recommended way for non-Play Store users to get the latest Firefox?

What did you glue sniffing monkeys do to my phone? Firefox for Android automatically updated without my approval/permission and now I can't set a @#$%ing homepage. WTF? Is there any way to revert to the old version? What possible reason can you offer me for eliminating the ability to set a homepage? Also is there any way to disable updates? I used to think that you guys were the best but with this kind of authoritarian BS I envision uninstalling this crap and using another browser. Again, what possible reason can you offer me for these changes? It has to be money, right? It is disgusting

I've been using firefox on my laptop for sometime now & think its better than other browsers. So I thought I'd try it on my android phone so I could sync bookmarks etc.... However, it is completely different. I can't find a home page button anywhere & trying to find a bookmark takes me a week. Why is it so ridiculously laid out? Its pathetic, can anyone tell me how I can get it to look like the standard version or where all the icons are hidden? If not I'll just have to uninstall it.
