Need to separate the system info. strip with time, date, and battery on top which is overlayed on the horizontal bar with browser tabs. Problem came about after update to iPadOS 26

143.1 updated onto my app this morning and now the app refuses to load. It opens for a second and sometimes begins to show the browsing interface and then it immediately crashes. All subsequent attempts to open the app have failed. I've deleted and reinstalled the app and restarted my phone and that has not fixed the issue.

I really want to replace Google search engine with Firefox. I already have the Firefox app installed but i have a Google search engine. I don’t want Google anymore. How do I replace it? Can you please explain any advice to me like I’m 5, as I have a mild cognitive impairment and am not very tech savvy.

I wrongly bookmark a page, but after deleting it it. When i search for the same site it will show under firefox suggest. I think this only happens in mobile (ios) as desktop would forget about the site

When I launch Firefox iOS for mobile and press on any of my pinned favorites, nothing happens. To actually access the pinned favorites or recently accessed browser pages it is now a 3-step process instead of 1. The first step is to press AND hold the favorite you want to access. When depressed, a menu of options appears which gives the user the option to choose “Open in new tab.” When the “Open in New Tab” option is chosen a blue banner appears below that reads “Open in new tab” at which point the favorite or recently visited site opens up. This had been going on for months until about a week ago but is back again and it is annoying!!!

open downloaded pdf from "download tab" in new tab always. Opening in the same last tab, destroys the opened tab which often not support back option e. g. Banking websites.

Pls give option of new tab opening of downloaded files.

this is a problem im seeing all over the internet, but nothing in your database. i just replaced my ipad with the newest ipad air m3 (2025). i have updated the operating system and all apps are updated since i just set it up today. when using firefox, and additional tabs are opened, they will not close by hitting the x to close them. the only way that sorta works is going to tab view and closing them there, but they will not close from the main screen.

how do i fix this? like i said, im seeing alot of posts on the internet complaining about the same thing.

I keep having issues with Firefox, and many times I have to switch to another browser to get things done. Getting support from other accounts I usually have to change browsers to be able to communicate with them. It makes me sad as I have been using Firefox for a LONG time, but it looks like I will be migrating over to Brave or Chrome..... sigh.....

Hello, Since I updated my iPhones to iOS 26 hell broke loose. On my iPhone 14 ProI can no longer use Firefox as it quits when I open it On my 15 Pro I can use it but most of the time I half only half of the window. I do want you to be my default browser.
