I can’t get the app on iOS to download without a messed up bookmark setting, which means the settings button will not open! Please offer a solution? I installed and reinstalled, plus I’ve tried to delete files folder etc, but the iOS download is holding onto the old file system, which I messed up. I purposely restarted a brand new account, after five to six years of using my old account, but that changed nothing. The bookmarks aren’t even holding on to Mozilla Firefox desktop site book markers?

Help! I’m trying to access my saved articles in airplane mode while traveling. This used to be no problem but new app last year won’t let me. Tell me the secret of how to do it! Thanks.

Hi - after deleting then reinstalling Firefox on my ipad I found that all my bookmarks had disappeared. I’ve tried re-syncing bookmarks to no avail, and tried to follow instructions to find my profile (‘about:profiles’, enter) but just reverts back to the same page so can’t progress, tried settings/troubleshooting but no sign of my profile folder let alone ‘Application Basics’. Are my bookmarks permanently gone? Any advice would be much appreciated (I should say I’m not the most computer literate so very probably there’s something I’m not doing right!) - many thanks, Cheryl.

  For couple weeks , following any external link/reference, such as all 'unsubscribe' links from Apple Mail messages, Firefox opens but homepage rather than to the link/url argument (and url field shows blank, not display the extrrnal link's url address in url input box.
  Support history shows an identical problem in Ff ~117 reported (Aug '23, I think)   (if the condition of Firefox not currently running is same, which I haven't yet been able to determine) and apparently resolved then ( 2 replies, but thread is not visible because FF Support has it recorded as "Archived").

Recently, when I type in the URL bar, there is only 1 suggestion from my bookmarks. Before, there were several bookmarks that show.

I want the previous behavior back so that I only need to type a few characters and then choose one of the suggested bookmarks in the list of results. Now, I need to keep typing a lot more characters/words before the 1 bookmark I want shows up. Sometimes I can’t recall enough of the full URL so the bookmark I want never shows up.

This is a big downgrade in the user experience. Is there a setting to go back to the previous behavior?

I don't understand where some bookmarks are when using iOS.

For new bookmarks, I see a row of "Recently Saved" pages on the home page. But I can't find a "Recently Saved" folder in the bookmarks menu.

When I sync with MacOS I see the new bookmarks in a new folder "Mobile Bookmarks". But I can't find a "Mobile Bookmarks" folder on iOS.

Finally, on iOS, I don't see how to access the bookmarks I added to the Bookmarks Menu in MacOS.

Windows corrupted my user profile so I lost everything... how do I get my bookmarks from Firefox iOS to my desktop PC?

When I sign into my desktop Firefox it has nothing - I am worried if I sync my iOS firefox it will delete all my bookmarks?

In the last few updates when you use "Bookmark Current Tab" it no longer ask you where you want to save the book mark like it use to in past versions of Firefox. You have to click "Bookmark Current Tab" the "Edit Bookmark" to save it to the folder you want it in. Thanks!
