Issue with IOS Passwords

Hi on my ipad 10 ios 16.1.1 with firefox 129.2 (44469) I am "paired" or logged in as my username BUT i simply cannot autofill passwords - even though the box "use saved … (funda kabanzi)

Hi on my ipad 10 ios 16.1.1 with firefox 129.2 (44469) I am "paired" or logged in as my username BUT i simply cannot autofill passwords - even though the box "use saved password" appears on sites ive registed....

I then tried logging out and in again and repairing the device and - same deal.

Also, when i goto "settings > passwords" it says:

"to save and automatically fill passwords, enable face id, touch id or a device passcode.....learn more" That support article does not seem to solve anything for me.

I am using firefox on my desktop and my iphone and both of those work.

No “Sync and save data” on iPhone?

I’m running Firefox 131.4 (46621) on my iPhone 12. I’m setting up a new Mac, and I’m trying to sync the freshly installed Firefox (132.0.1 aarch64) with my other FF inst… (funda kabanzi)

I’m setting up a new Mac, and I’m trying to sync the freshly installed Firefox (132.0.1 aarch64) with my other FF instances.

The sync instructions ask if I have FF for mobile, then provide a QR code and give these instructions: 1. Open Firefox on your mobile device. 2. Go to the menu /// on iOS and tap «Sync and save data» 3. Tap «Ready to scan» and hold your phone over this code

There is *no* «Sync and save data» menu item, and I can’t find any other location where I might scan a QR code.

Can not login into Firefox Sync on iPad

It seems I have been logged out of Sync just now with no reason and I have already tried to log in using email just about 5 or 6 times, but always as I enter code from em… (funda kabanzi)

It seems I have been logged out of Sync just now with no reason and I have already tried to log in using email just about 5 or 6 times, but always as I enter code from email I end up with the message on screenshot («Something get wrong...»). I was able to successfully log in through web portal but this does not help as I need to look up my Synchronized tabs. I am currently out of home — that's why I can't use QR code...

How to fix this issue?

I am ready to experience several inconveniences due to relatively small user base and undefinancing of development, but gosh, this is really too much.

I have downloaded Mozilla Firefox to my iPad. I keep seeing DuckDuckGo as my browser. I want to change my search engine to Firefox but I don’t see Firefox as a listed se… (funda kabanzi)

I have downloaded Mozilla Firefox to my iPad. I keep seeing DuckDuckGo as my browser. I want to change my search engine to Firefox but I don’t see Firefox as a listed search engine that I can choose from. Does Mozilla have its own search engine? I don’t want to use the other listed choices such as Google or Bing.

Firefox spontaneously reverts to non-private browser

Phone and Firefox up to date. This is NOT immediately after iOS update nor after a Firefox update. I have settings confirmed that should keep me in private browsing. Trip… (funda kabanzi)

Phone and Firefox up to date. This is NOT immediately after iOS update nor after a Firefox update. I have settings confirmed that should keep me in private browsing. Triple checked this. Even uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox and reestablished proper settings.

I’ll be browsing in a private browser, will re-open Firefox and SOMETIMES, not always, I’ll be in a non-private browser.

What gives??
