A couple of weeks ago, following the last iOS update, my Firefox browser will not stay open long enough to use it. It keeps reverting to the home screen. I have had to remove it as my default iPhone 15 Pro browser because it won't work. The bulk of my passwords are stored in Firefox, and not my phone password, so I can no longer use certain sites without changing all my passwords to get new ones when I don't have access to my desktop.

I also have an iPad Mini, latest version, with iPadOS 18.3.2 installed. My passwords suddenly stopped working.

So I have two devices I carry at all times. I can't access my iPhone browser, so no passwords, and my iPad browser works, and it can't access passwords either.

I am hoping to avoid deleting and re-installing, so I don't lose my browser history, but I don't know what else to do.

The browser is not great on some sites. That is that the responsiveness of the touchscreen is not great. They work well using Chrome, but not using Firefox. I am trying to steer away from Google, and this makes the decision difficult sometimes.

My Firefox on iOS shows the red padlock icon (not secure) while the pages are loading on the Verizon network. It doesn't occur if I switch to my home WiFi. First, I thought maybe it's a mixed content website (e.g. page with HTTP resources in it); however, the same thing happens on every Google search. It shows the red padlock until the page is fully loaded and then turns into secure padlock.

- WiFi with 1.1.1.1 DNS -> secure padlock - Cellular network(*) -> red padlock - Cellular network(*) + 1.1.1.1 app in full VPN mode -> secure padlock - Cellular network(*) + 1.1.1.1 app in only DNS mode -> secure padlock

If this is expected and the intent is to show that the DNS queries that are happening while the page is loading are not secure and causing a gap in the security, there should be another state of the icon (e.g. yellow icon) or a popup that explains it. It currently is not self-explanatory.

So when I installed Firefox for iOS (to go with my Firefox desktop browser), it always requested desktop sites. At first I thought it was just a gimmick. All browsers have one. Chrome has the gimmick of sending your info to who knows, and Edge has the gimmick of being stuck on Windows 11 and having an ad blocker on mobile. But it got annoying and I don’t think it’s supposed to do this. PLEASE HELP!

Just get the purpose over with is why I got this browser. It’s because they didn’t want to use chrome Google but believe me I’m gonna figure out a way cause if something goes wrong. I don’t get what I’m supposed to be getting. I’m a going to see the shit out of somebody..

After upgrade on iMac to Sequioa, my search bar no longer will show results for longer than a nano-second. Have tried to reach out to Apple Care but they are unable to help since not their product. Hard to describe - screen sharing is optimum if able :)

When scrolling in Firefox iOS it can be pretty wild. Websites jump up and down. It does seem to me that this might’ve related to the address bar appearing and disappearing. I tried old bar, refreshed one, keeping it up-top or down at the bottom and nothing seems to fix this issue. Did anyone come across anything like that?

If i have any tab with an instagram link, it will force the app open if i try to look at my tabs. I’m not clicking on it. I have firefox set to block.

What can be done to stop this?
