Hello team,

After the latest update, which happened today, the address bar got so narrow that not only can I not see the address I am browsing, but I can’t type a new address either, because the reader view or certificate info buttons are too close to one another (see attached image).

I hope this can be addressed soon. Browsing has become much of a hassle now.

You know, I really need to import my bookmarks from safari to a more secure browser like a privacy browser and I don’t know why I can’t just do that. Where is the option to do that? I mean this feature is so important, if not critical.

I made a ton of bookmarks on safari and now I’m like I need certain bookmarks on a private secure browser like this one.

In the latest version of Firefox for iPad (IOS) the tabs are now at the bottom of the screen requiring 2 clicks to get to instead of 1. How do I get my tabs back at the top of the browser? The toolbar location setting is missing from settings.

Is this a feature? If not, can it be? I frequently use reading mode, especially on horrifically laid out sites such as news and magazine sites. I frequently have to scroll up and down a bunch of times to get the address bar to come back so I can use it. How do I disable this hiding behavior? If I can’t, why? With modern phones being so absurdly tall it’s not like the bar takes up crucial real estate, people should be able to keep it visible if they want.

I have attached two images, the first is from my Firefox and the second is from the picture of Firefox in the App Store, which my Firefox used to look like. Obviously at some point they increasing the y-padding around the toolbar massively, but I don’t like this change at all — it doesn’t match any other platform and just wastes space. Is there any way to revert the appearance to what it was before?

I find the process of adding bookmarks really difficult. I have a ton of them and I need to keep them organized, so I have to add them to the correct folder when I make them. So on mobile, I have to go to the menu, tap add, quickly tap the "edit" button before it goes away, navigate out of mobile bookmarks to desktop bookmarks, scroll past every single folder and subfolder I have (there are a lot) and finally get to save my bookmark. Then, when I find something else I want to remember in the same category, I have to do the same 6-step process because the browser doesn't automatically navigate to the last folder I saved to. If anyone knows of a way to make the process shorter I would be very grateful.

Firefox keeps opening up external apps when I do not want them to be opened. It opens the link in the browser AND in the app, which makes it insultingly frustrating when I eventually go to close the tabs in the browser because every time I try to close the tabs, the external app reopens!

I would LOVE to see the option to either

• save bookmarks to the last selected location
• or to set a different default location than „mobile bookmarks“

The background d is that I usually never want to save to mobile bookmark folder, and almost exclusively use the bookmark bar or even a specific „sort“/„inbox“ folder in it.

Is there a way to achieve this on iOS already?

I've noticed a large increase in ads in Firefox for iOS. Seems like it started about 6 months ago. The worst is Google ads that overlay functional parts of a website. Example is the home page and 10 day forecast page of wunderground.com.

The problem is definitely in Firefox. Firefox Focus doesn't suffer from these ads.

There are lots of “one person has this problem” under questions about the bookmarks bar in iOS. Are you ever going to address this or should we all switch back to safari? Cheers C

When I go to save a bookmark, the “done” or “save” button is missing. I can’t get bookmarks to save because I can’t complete the selection process. Can someone please help me troubleshoot this?

Hi Please can you develop a plugin for 1password in a similar way to the plug in for safari has one so that 1password works on my iPad. Currently i have an iPad pro and i cant use Firefox with 1password.... Therefore I have switched to using safari...

Any help you can offer would be appreciated.

I hope there will be an update in which we get bookmarks on the top for ipad. just like on pc. it's definitely possible cause there is enough screen real estate. or make two bars or 3 on ios. I hope this is a feature that will be picked up and implemented one day. I fully switched to Firefox. Cause now it connects every search result to desktop. Also I like that it isn't chromium based

I want Firefox to default to opening all links in firefox.

Whenever I click a link that is associated with a third party app, Firefox opens that app. It doesn’t happen in safari and it significantly hampers usability. (E.g. the IMDB app streams videos but doesn’t seem to actually show information about the shows, so to easily access it, you need the actual site to open, not the app.) I would like to disable this feature and have everything open in the browser, the way it does in safari. How do I do this?

I needed this browser for my iPad. I had downloaded it on my PC recently. No problems at all. But now when I try and add the BTRoblox extension it says download the app. I DID THAT. Then it says finish setting it up. I don’t know what that means. So if there is anything I’m doing wrong let me know. Thanks! JackyBEAR
