Sooo I had tens of tabs open, with intention to keep them - I couldn't find an option to save all of them, so decided to update the app, just in case FF caught up with so… (funda kabanzi)
Sooo I had tens of tabs open, with intention to keep them - I couldn't find an option to save all of them, so decided to update the app, just in case FF caught up with some functionalities I've seen in my other browsers - bookmarking all tabs, namely.
After I've updated, all my open tabs are gone and "recently closed" is empty. There's no way to have the tabs back.
I don't expect there's a way to solve this problem, but I'm posting it here just in case, and at the same time marking my segue to Safari.

I am having an issue where my Firefox is displaying suggestions from sites I have visited only ever in private browsing mode. When I type a letter with this site, it appears as a “Firefox Suggested” search, not a Google search which I have already disabled. I have cleared my history, cleared my cache, reinstalled, done the same on all my devices, ensured I have no bookmarks or any remnants of the site visited, yet they remain visible on my phone. I am on Firefox for IOS, my IOS and Firefox are updated to the latest edition as of 04/11/2024. I am ensure what to do, as I really can’t allow this. Is there a way to turn this off, or is my only option to just switch back to Safari for the time being? Please let me know, as I need this turned off or to figure out how to clear this specific suggestion despite it being nowhere in my history, bookmarks, cache, downloads, or anywhere else.

While using Mozilla Firefox browser on my iPad Pro, I often switch back and forth to different apps throughout my workday. The keyboard command shortcut I use is CMD+Tab to switch to different application windows.
The problem that I have is that every time I switch from a different application, BACK to Mozilla Firefox, instead of staying on the website/tab that I was on previously, it opens up a brand new tab. And I have to close the new tab out every single time just to back to the page I wanted to be at before.
In the settings, I can’t for the life of me figure out how to STOP the app from launching a new tab every single time I simply switch back to the application. It’s the most irritating function to have to constantly close out new tab windows.

Whenever I start again to sync my account in Firefox for iOS it begins to stop unexpectedly; after 2 to 3 seconds that I reopen the browser, it asks if I want to restore the previous (empty) session and then - without any input from me - it crashes again. Hi, my Firefox on my iPhone was updated on the latest version (116.0), and upon opening it after the update, I realized all of my open tabs were completely gone! This includes the private browsing tabs, which typically persisted from opening to opening of Firefox. Every tab, both normal and private browsing, is now gone. How can I restore them? I've *never* had any issues with any prior Firefox iOS update before!
This is critical to me; thank you for your help in any way, whether that be it through my synced account (which also lost the open tabs, from what I can see) and/or anything else.
