I am looking to be able to INDEPENDENTLY close Firefox (Standard) windows separate from those running in a Private session.

ATM, it does not seem possible to close just one type of Firefox session without the other.

I see this possibly as a simple about:config switch which would allow one to close ALL Standard or Private windows with the respective system tray icon's "Close (All) Windows" OR the Menu's Exit selection. No other behaviors need change.

USE CASE: I frequently use both types of windows and will sometimes close Firefox Standard and unintentionally loose tabs I have not saved in Private.

I am consistently receiving an "Access Denied - You don't have permission to access (names site specific URL) on this server" error message on several websites. -- Lowes.com, Homedepot.com, costco.com.

I can access the home page of the website, but whenever a tab on the home page is selected or a search done, the error message is received.

Have followed all help suggestions I can find. Cleared cache, cleared history, forgotten website, refreshed Firefox, run Firefox in safe mode. No impact on problem.

I upgraded my FireFox to the latest version 88.0 today, and noticed some changes on right click menu. In the old version, the keyboard shortcut key is a to copy a link, but now it was changed to L. That is really inconvenient. As you know, when you right click a link using the mouse, your right hand is still holding the mouse, and not easy to press the letter L on the keyboard.

The old menu option is "Copy Link Locaton", but the new one is "Copy Link".

Is it possible to customize the keyboard shortcut of right click menu, please?

Chase bank has recently put a front end check that blocks all users with Windows 7 ,8 ,8.1. They have a page that says the browsers need to be changed to ones supported, yet they ignore the version of the browser "Firefox Setup 115.31.0esr.exe" which Mozilla updates monthly for security fixes. Thus they are effectively forcing anyone that bought a computer from 10/22/2009 to 01/10/2023 14 years.

I would like to know the number of users that are using the Firefox Setup 115.31.0esr release so that I can make Chase aware of how many home users they are impacting with this front end block to logging into Chase for our checking, savings, credit cards and mortgages. With some actual numbers they may reverse this problem by simply removing the front end check of windows version before allowing user login.

Without some idea of the potential number of users being blocked from access, they may just continue to ignore us.

And now that Windows 10 is not longer a supported version of Windows, will that be next. Steven Hudson [edited email from community support forum]

Hi, I have an old PC with Win7 and Firefox 115.30.0esr (64-bit) (latest version from 11 november 25) and this website cultuursmakers.be has problems aka differences with Firefox 141.0.3 (of my Android tablet) and other browsers such as Chrome. The green heading block overlaps and hide the upper part of the content block. For example, if you select inloggen (log in), then you see that the user name (naam) is not visible and only the box for the password is shown. Work around: Right click on the header and select Inspect. In the Inspector (html column) select the header tag. In the Inspector (css column) uncheck in the '.header.--fixed' selector the line 'position: fixed;' Now the content block shifts down and all content is visible. Can you verify / fix that? Lines overlapping, words overlapping, in incoming email. Also outgoing email, the first letter typed is 50% or less in size than the rest and the dictionary does not detect the first small letter, therefore it prompts that it is misspelled. Hep !!!!!

Hello, I am still running an old WIn 7 media center because I have applications I need that are no longer supported elsewhere. Firefox ESR has been working just fine up until the most recent update - which repeatedly fails to install each time I start Firefox. Is there a location where this update resides? If so may I know this location and procedure to eliminate this errant update? Thanks!
