For some months now, LinkedIn does not load 90% of the time. It just 'hangs'. It's the only website that this problem happens. So I switch to another browser to access LinkedIn now, which is my most used site.

If I go to the profile folder, exit firefox then copy and paste the folder to a backup location. The attempted backup fails. Something about permissions as I recall. I have tried many things unsuccessfully. Something has changed that does not allow for the backup of profile folders. Adding a backup option to the profile manager would be nice. I noticed some people have found work-arounds but I need a straight-forward procedure for backing up my folders. No work-arounds please, just a simple procedure. May I ask for help with this issue?

Hello I got a pop up or it was new tab informing about new firefox functions. It was about profile creation and management. Now i have two profiles and cant switch back to my old one. I cant seem to be able to delete new profile to return to my old one.

When I export a presentation from Perplexity in Firefox, the downloaded file is completely empty (slides without content).

If I do the same export in other browsers (for example, Chrome or Edge), the presentation exports correctly and the file is not empty.

So it seems this issue only happens in Firefox. Firefox 145.0.2

After Installing new system on my laptop and singing in to my Mozilla account nothing was restored from it. Everything is empty as it is completely new account but I created this one few years back and never had a problem with a sync. Hopefully it will be restored since I had large amount of important bookmarks. If you can check and resolve it please. Thank you.

Hi there. The Netflix homepage is no longer displayed properly. Only the headlines are visible without the thumbnails (see screenshot 1). Netflix is properly displayed in screenshot 2 which was taken in an other browser. Can somebody please help me to solve this problem. Many thanks.

This afternoon, I clicked on a link from an email and for the first time got a choose a profile pop-up. I do not want this; I have read info on Mozilla and elsewhere about its purpose but it doesn't say how to just stop the pop-up - there should be an option just stop the pop-up because I don;t want to have to choose amongst options. I have started copy-pasting the links in emails and going to Chrome and will seriously have to reconsider using Firefox of this continues. I don't want to have to type about:config or anything - this should have been an opt out or opt in thing and I want out. Thank you for your help.

Every time I click away to a different program, it closes my private browsing window. It automatically closes and I cannot find a relevant setting. Only happens in private browsing.

When opening firefox, why do I have to wait for it to update?

I am asking it to open, not to update. You can do it on closing, not on opening. Am I opening the browser for you to update, or for me to navigate?

I have two computers both with Windows 11 and Firefox is synced. On one computer the Capital One website works perfectly with no problems but on the other I can't get details of credit card charges and I often get messages like oops something went wrong. On that computer the site works perfectly when I use Chrome to access it. Any ideas?

I keep getting emails regarding my signing into accounts from different locations. Now the thing is that I use a VPN to access MSN outside of China because I cannot read the Chinese version. It is kind of annoying getting the emails from MSN but there is no way to contact whoever to let them know I use a VPN. Does anyone know who I can inform about this?

New computer upgrade from MS10 to MS 11 365. I lost all bookmarks for internet locations. How do I retrieve them? Where is the new bookmark access icon on the Firefox home screen?

1. Long start up times (do not see this on other browsers) 2. FIrefox often crashes. Browser tells me that a report has been sent. To where? No response. 3. How do I check if my browser is up to date?

What could be causing this? What are my effective actions to increase performance?

I want to delete/remove subject folder from my Windows 11 desktop. I did not create this folder; it suddenly appeared after I reinstalled the Firefox browser. These are the steps I am using in the deletion process: I right click on the folder and click on the delete icon. At the top of the window it says "Folder Access Denied." (Image 1) Below that it says, "You'll need to provide administrator permission to delete this folder." If I click on the "Continue" button, then the error message changes to "You require permission from OWNER/(me) ... to make changes to this folder." (Image 3) The permissions for this folder listed in the "Security" tab lists three groups: 1. "SYSTEM," 2. "F... S... (...@ Outlook.com)" and 3. "Administrators (Owners/Administrators)." All the foregoing have full control and modify control for this folder. The "More details" seen in Images 1 and 3 is grayed out so I cannot get any additional information. How can I delete this unnecessary and data hogging folder? Thank you all very much in advance to all that chose to respond.
