I found that Firefox can automatically generate a QR code for each URL, which is a powerful and useful feature! I'd like to know if this QR code has an expiration date.

The screenshot below shows exactly what happened to me yesterday when I was prompted by your Firefox pop-up window to update as I have done many times before without incident. Two minutes after clicking on the update request a pop-up window came on my screen with what appeared to be from Microsoft Tech dept. It had a warning message that my computer may have been hacked and a phone number that I must call. I had no choice then to call the number as my computer was frozen/locked. In addition, now my Norton software is suggesting I no longer have "internet Security" which would always say '"Firefox secured'"??? please help me understand why my internet is no longer secured by Firefox? Firefox is not asking where save downloaded files. I have the checkbox checked which indicates it should ask every time. I also followed some instructions on here about going to the about:config page and changing a setting to false, but that didn't do anything.

At the latest update firefox 64bit crashed and I neede a totally new install of firefox. After downloading it said, partly installed we will repair the upgrade and it did. However only a few bookmarks were recovered many of which were over a year old... So how to recover my recent bookmarks, which were in sorted in named bookmarkfolder, e.g. home/study/work

I would assume a backup frommy firefox account but that does not show a solution..?!??

On Windows 10, Professional up to date with Malwarebytes (pro) and Microsoft Security Essentails running permanently.

I have removed and downloaded Firefox for windows 10 4 times. each time i try to run it I get the following error "The file or directory is corrupted or un-readable"

Lately, every time I turn on my computer, Google comes up as my browser. I believe that Avast, for which I have a paid subscription, is responsible for this hijacking. I have never used Google as a browser, nor do I wish to. I have to constantly maneuver to use Firefox. I am not omputer savy, so I need help.

1. How can I prevent this? 2. Is there a Federal Agency to complain to? 3. Is Firefox aware of this?

It always worked, i just alt+tab to firefox, quick spacebar and youtube video paused until few days ago, now i need to specificaly click on the video in order for it to work, other buttons work, other video websites like netflix dont have any problem. I remember new update tab opened. Why do you have to break everything? Don't know how long that show all tabs button is up there but I tried couple times to remove it and its impossible, why URL bar is also search bar? Why? everyone can but search bar whenever we want, even right next to it, who thinks of this bullshit? Instead of being user friendly you put useless shit into it making it work like a my 16 bit PC when people expect it to run smoothly and quickly.

Today, out of the blue, my email screen adjusted itself to be very, very tiny. I almost need a magnifier to read it! I cannot find how to put it back to normal!

I was using PC and a window popped up saying "allow Firefox to make changes" and I clicked allow! Shortly thereafter my PC froze and I had to power it down. Now Firefox looks completely different and all my bookmarks and links to everything is gone. Also all my saved email logins and information!

1. Mozilla email address 2. When I use Mozilla-Firefox to look for products on Amazon, you don't show the "SIZE" pull downs that are visible using Google Chrome or EDGE. I'm sure this is not good for business. I would prefer to remain on Mozilla, but somehow Amazon has blocked you from showing the size choices, and subject prices!!!

I subscribed to Relay and VPN on Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2023, and paid the annual fee ($82.66); however, after looking at all the features of Relay, I decided that it was too complicated for me and I cancelled the subscription the same day. I have not received a refund yet.

Previously, I had been paying for the VPN monthly, and I do want to keep that and can pay for it annually. So the annual amount for the VPN could be withheld from the amount I paid and the refund could be for Relay portion only, if that's possible. If not, I will continue to pay for the VPN monthly.

Please advise as to how long before I will see my refund.

Hi -- I hope someone can help with this recent problem that has cropped up. Videos that are supposed to be autostart, such as news stories embedded on pages of news sites or video feeding into a side panel on a college sports site I frequent are just continually in buffer mode with the little spin icon in the middle of the screen. This also happens with some, but not all, YouTube videos.

This is a recent development and I didn't do anything to change my setup. I did try updating to make sure I have the most recent version of Firefox, so that's been accounted for. If I close out Firefox and come back to it after a couple of minutes, the problem is cleared, but it only lasts a little while before it begins once again.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

Can't get to Google apps from google home page. Dots for Google apps not there. Only way they appear is to search for something. Otherwise you can't get to apps (no nine dots) or even sign in to google. Nosigh-in box either on first open of browser. Thanks for the help.

I was looking for tickets on site for hockey using firefox but I get Sorry, Your Session Expired to start again, please return to the previous page/tab and re-click the link (refreshing this page might not work). I go back and then go again to the site and it still comes up with that message. However, it works in Microsoft Edge without any problems. Any reason for this?

The last couple of days, Firefox opens in a three-quarter screen size window. I don't want "full-screen" mode but I do want the window to take up my whole desktop when I'm using it. There are no buttons to maximise or minimise and no dragging arrows when I hover over the edges. I don't know why this is happening all of a sudden. How do I fix it please?
