when I'm on sites playing games, i.e. face book, I keep getting this across the bottom of my screen:

How can I disable it? I can't take a screen shot because if I place my mouse on it, it skips to another place on my screen.

Is there a Firefox setting that automatically clears cookies? When I turned my computer on, it had been cleared of cookies since the last time I had it on a few hours ago, but I didn't do it. No one else here to use the computer but me. I don't want cookies cleared automatically. How do I change it back to manual? I use Firefox Browser 120.0

I have been receiving the following error code 'PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR' on several website on my Firefox browser. Sometime, not all the time, I get the same error message while trying to use YouTube, while other times the site loads but says that I am offline and no internet connection. I have done all of the fixes that they say to use online and nothing seems to work. YouTube will occasionally work but none of the thumbnails will show up. Then there are other site that work fine.

I frequently need to access a Hi-Fi device on my local ethernet network from https://www.skytune.net For example ... http://192.168.1.68/ or http://192.168.1.62/ (The last 2 digits of the IP change from time to time)

Recently, I keep getting unnecessary security alerts - Any idea why? I have use https only disabled.

I could be with skytune's certificate. I have done everything I can to bypass these errors.

The Disable Protection For Now option seems to be unavailable if the latest Firefox.

Hello, I cannot get videos to go into full screen in FF as they used to before latest update. Tested on various sites. There are no controls shown on YouTube unless i either hide the taskbar or scroll down both of which is a nuisance. On some sites the task bar stays at the bottom which it didn't used to do. link text

Suddenly stopped receiving emails on my blueyonder account 6 days ago. I can receive them fine on my iphone and ipad and with virgins web mail site but nothing on Thunderbird. It keeps asking for my password but does not recognise anything that i type in. Also will not send from blueyonder. My gmail account works fine. Please help

Hello, I use ubuntu on my M$ surface go2 tablet, and I wonder, if it's possible to enable video touch control (HTML5 player) on video sites other than youtube, like I have in android or chromeOS. On Android this option works always. On ChromeOS doesn't work in privacy mode (no idea why, there is no addons or extensions, just pure firefox.

I know ther is option in PiP option, but is it possible to use just double tap on screen instead of small buttons? (now double tap turns on and off full screen).

So, I had three windows open in private mode, then the (stupid) software decides to crash (or rather, restart automatically for an update) and I lose all those tabs from those windows (ALTHOUGH NOT MY CHOICE, OR FAULT) then several search results say install PrivateBrowsingHistoryRecovery add on, however the links go nowhere. Surely Mos FuryInducingF_x don't prevent the installation of an add on that might actually make their software better, useful?

Microsoft has placed an ad in mail page to purchase 365 Pilot-Personalized email, I already own 365 program, because I do not push the Buy Button they refused to remove the Ad therefore I cannot open my email. Somebody told me that Firefox is in collaboration with Microsoft,please see if you remove the Ad from email page-it has been a nightmare I have to manure to to ge some of my emails. Please,help. I recently updated to FF 119.0.1. I am finding that URL completion in the address bar is kind of random. In FF 118 and earlier, URLs were completed predictably, and it was pretty clear that they were based on a) bookmarks and b) frequency of use. Now, it seems like the frequency info is lost every time I restart FF. In that case, I might expect that the URL offered would be from the oldest bookmark or maybe the first in alphabetical order or something predictable, but it isn't. It seems to me to be random, and it is very annoying.

Is this a new bug, or is there perhaps a new setting that I can change to stop the madness?

For relevant settings, I have:

 - Provide search suggestion: checked
 - When using address bar, suggest: browsing history and bookmarks are checked, nothing else
 - I'm using Custom History settings: Remember browsing and download history is checked, Clear history when Firefox closes is checked. 

I have used these settings for years in previous versions of FF, and there hasn't been a problem until now.

My Simple Tab Groups disappeared after one of the recent Firefox updates. This has happened before. Now, after considerable time rebuilding my simple tab groups, when I get a notification that a new version of Firefox is available, I dismiss it. I am afraid of losing them again.

Have you heard this before? Has the issue been addressed? Is it fixed? Is it safe to update without losing the tab groups? Is there a way to back them up and restore them later if they crash?

I have strict tracking protection turned and and i have a rule set for both https and http for bing, yahoo, and some other sites, and no matter how many times i delete their cookies from the settings menu they keep coming back and i have no idea why. I dont see a logical reasons why my extensions would be doing that

I want to add the Bookmarks to my Browser page. The schematic says I need to press the Toolbar button, but on my latest version of Firefox there is no Toolbar button. Then I have another problem with your instructions. I had to Download something called Filelink. It directed me the Preference section on my menu under More Tools. Accept there is no such thing on my version of Firefox. I have to send a video of about 54 seconds to someone via Thunderbird email, so need to know how I'm going to do it.

Hi, i'm a new firefox user and I've looked online for the last hour looking for a fix, but nothing. I have 2 monitors and when I click from one to the other or alt + tab, all my tabs become darkened, from white to having faded / being much darker, I'd want to not have that, is there a way?

Example of not darked darkened / faded tabs / darkened:

The netflix, giazo, imdb and youtube tab is not darkened. (not alt tabbed or clicked on second monitor). The other one is darkened, alt tabbed, clicked on second monitor.

why do you stalk and bother the users? i do not want to update! without warning you alter things i do not want you to alter. you take things out so people have to use risky 3rd party addons.

i wasn't able to drag tabs at one point like i could drag windows but not tabs

also in davinci resolve a video editor, i wasn't able to drag media from a section onto the timeline

if i restarted my laptop, the issue disappeared for around 30 minutes and came back

i switched to windows 11 and the issue went away for a few days but came back. i dont know how to resolve it permanently
