Сегодня обновил Mozilla FireFox до версии 146.0 (64-разрядный). После обновления в панели "закладки" (cntrl+B) появился ненужный мне цвет выделения только что открытой мною вкладки (смотри скриншот). Как поменять данный цвет на менее контрастный ? У меня включена "темная тема", цвет выделения - ядовито-голубой. Хочу изменить его на другой более мягкий цвет. Как это я могу сделать?

Today I updated Mozilla Firefox to version 146.0 (64-bit). After the update, the highlight color of the tab I just opened appeared in the bookmarks bar (Cntrl+B) in an unwanted way (see screenshot). How can I change this color to a less contrasting one? I have the "dark theme" enabled, and the highlight color is a bright blue. I want to change it to a softer color. How can I do this?

I am running Firefox 147 on a Windows 10 desktop PC. I am using DualSafe Password Manager. However, the 'Ask to save passwords' option is ticked in my Settings (see attached screenshot), and also greyed out so I can't alter it. Firefox keeps asking to save passwords for sites that I sign into. Can anyone suggest how I can fix this. To my way of thinking, if a thrid-party password manager is installed, Firefox should see this (it does) and automatically set itself to not ask.

Well at least I think it did. Facebook has an issue with scrolling through the feed in my group. I don't know whether there's also a problem on the home feed and also one's timeline. The further one goes back, the more sluggish it becomes and it takes longer to display posts. I'm not sure whether this is a browser issue as I haven't tested on other browsers, or a problem with Facebook pulling stuff out of the drawers in its archives. Maybe it's a memory issue due to all posts needing to be loaded in memory so it's possible to go back up through the feed to the newest one. Anyway, it gets to the stage after going back through hundreds of posts over 6 months, FB stalls. So I tried clearing my history (I have this set to not clear cookies). I then closed FB and Firefox. When I started Firefox again, I had to agree to cookies and sign into all my social media accounts, Google accounts and also agree to cookies on sites I visit regularly. So obviously a glitch in the browser, causing many, if not all cookies to be deleted.

I have been reading about turning off enhanced tracking protection permanently; HOWEVER, the solution does not work. Going to privacy and security, clicking custom and turning everything off still does not shut the thing off fully. The shield in the browser is still active and I constantly have to still turn it off I even had to turn it off to get on this site. That is pretty sad when the makers of the browser block their own site using enhanced tracking protection. Is this another case ( i've seen thousands) where some sortware nerd is trying to show how clever he /she is at coding and in fact messes everything up? WHY DO YOU SIMPLY REMOVE THE TRACKING PROTECTION ENTIRELY... IT'S SO ANNOYING.

btw: none of the enhancements like Bold or Italic work on this site either.. great job..../s

I'm not sure if it's Firefox's VPN or the most recent Windows ESU or a combination of the two, but really weird things are happening when I reboot my system and it tries to enter windows via my local account.

I checked AI and it said yes it is highly probable that the combination of Windows ESU and the newly added Firefox VPN is causing your system to act weird. Recent Windows updates have been known to cause conflicts with VPN software, leading to network issues and system stability. I've turned off the VPN in Firefox and the VPN setting in Windows VPN Advanced Options today. I did notice my system appears to struggle when it hits the McAfee program when trying to load the Windows Desktop Screen.

A while ago when using the setting firefox noticed that i was using a vpn and turned the settings off. At least that was what i believed. Turns out, that only works with browser vpn addons that use the firefox settings. But these addons do not use wireguard, but tls to encrypt your data. If i use a vpn, and want to use the dns settings provided by them, i have to turn of the feature the dns over https feature from firefox. I only want to use that feature, if im not "protected" by a vpn solution of my choice.

Even after reading the articles that suggest changes, I haven't been able to figure out how to enable printing from my gmail and google docs as was previously available. I have been having to copy the links and paste into Edge in order to print (Dell Inspiron, windows 10)

Or copy and paste into a word doc. So frustrating that firefox shows a print preview, but doesn't sent the doc to the printer.

I use the most up to date Firefox program. I needed to reinstall windows from scratch so backed up my files using the Firefox Backup option. When i try to restore the files, it restores only 2 bookmarks, 1 called Learn More, and another, a folder called How to Restore, and in it a book mark called Download. The bookmark just takes you to the Firefox home page. I dont know what to do.. there are bookmarks I need, so hope someone can help. Attached is an image of the file Firefox Created.

I installed a new hard drive into my computer and when I downloaded firefox again none of my saved links, passwords, themes, etc. moved over even though I signed into my account. Please help! Asap!

HI everyone

Whenever I try and access the UGC cinema site - showing latest movies in various locations - the opening page gets blocked straightaway upon opening: my screen turns dim, I cannot select either latest movies or cinema hall where a given movies is shown... I cannot do anything. The mouse refuses to click anywhere .. Strangely when I open the same site , namely https://www.ugc.fr/ , with another net provider: either Opera or Microsoft Edge, I do not have any problem ... Why does this site work OK with Opera or Microsft Edge and not with Firefox ??? I get no warning or error message from Firefox either, nor from my Antivirus ... A real puzzle. I am an editor, which means I do a lot of research. I do not want my shortcuts to reflect all the crap I have to review for work. The latest update shrunk the size of the shortcut squares and added many. That simply does not work for me, and I want to return to what I had before the update. Is there any way to do that? What I have now is a royal pain in the butt.

The `Passwords` page can not show any username and password. But the firefox can still fill usernames and passwords automatically and remenber new passwords. I can export data via menu (right-up) too.

Have used Firefox for years, always do current updates. Still using Win10. After browsing for a few minutes, hard drive activity increases and the mouse and keyboard become unresponsive, returning very briefly for a second or two, before once again being unresponsive. After 10 min. or so, system returns to normal. This only happens while using Firefox. MS Edge, with all the same extensions, has no problem. Have searched many times, but no useful help is found. Have already un-checked hardware acceleration, and cleared caches, Am ready to give up and switch to Edge. Any help?

The tabs and groups do not show up in the History or the Recent tab groups areas. The recently closed windows button is grayed out. and the recovery files from; sessionstore-backups do not contain the tabs. How do i get them back?

I have tried five different window managers - none give a reliable permanent opening of Firefox in the primary monitor. Google suggested deleting two files from Profile; I could find only one; deleting it did not produce the desired result. Firefox 'Memory' appears to over-ride any setting.
