I have Firefox reinstalled, it is not syncing bookmarks, history. I tried to import booksmarks from edge but it could not find the file or said it does not have any bookmakrs on it which was not true.

non my my bookmarks and passwords are on my firefox and i reformatted my pc, i have never had a issue like this ever, and yes im signed into the same email i have always used and didnt do anything different

Dear All, I recently reinstalled Windows and updated to the latest Firefox. When I tried to sign in to sync/restore my bookmarks, Firefox could not recognize my password. I reset it and used the new password, but the bookmarks that appeared were outdated, and not all information synced to my current account.Could you please advise on the steps (or a quick solution) to fix this?Many thanks for your support in advance.Kind regards, Tareq Zeyad

Until few days ago i could see all the opened tabs of my first phone on pc using "Tabs from other devices" option. Today i connected another phone and now i canno't see anymore tabs from my first phone. At the moment i don't have access to the first phone as i had to rapair it. Under my mozilla account i can still see my first phone connected.

My account won't sync my old passwords and browser history. I recently reinstalled windows and when I tried to sign in to my mozilla account my data wasn't there.

How can I transfer open tabs from my old computer to my new one? Syncing is enabled, and the sync tabs checkbox is checked, but the tabs aren't syncing on the new device. I also couldn't find any separate function to load tabs.

I reinstalled the operating system, so to speak, changed my device. I clicked the sync button and it worked. I reinstalled the operating system and reinstalled the browser. I logged in, nothing happened. I rebooted, nothing changed. I clicked sync, everything was the same. Where are my bookmarks and passwords?

Firefox updated to the latest version and it lost everything. All my saved passwords are gone, all my bookmarks, data, etc. It said I could sign in with my account and it would sync them and bring them all over, it didn't. I can't use the original profile because it says it's outdated, I don't even know if it's the correct profile anyway. What am I supposed to do?

after a fresh reload of windows was performed on my machine, I signed into my Mozilla account but none of my bookmarks were appearing after the successful sign in. When I tried syncing it still did not appear. There are bookmarks that I had saved on firefox that are essential.

I have a desktop and a laptop on firefox. I am selling my laptop so i cleared history and deleted all bookmark history.

To my horror, even though i remember i have signed out of mozilla account on the laptop firefox, on my desktop firefox all the bookmarks including bookmark folders are gone. Thankfully, i have a fairly recent backup of firefox userprofile file so i restored them.

However, to my horror once more time, I realize now firefox sync automatically deletes my bookmarks everytime it syncs so i have to turn it off.

How can i make firefox sync to treat my current bookmarks as the latest and stop deleting them?

Hi, I created mozilla account and turned on synchronization to save my passwords, history, etc. After I done it, I formatted my pc. Now I've just downloaded mozilla and log in to my account to see that NONE of my data were saved... How is it even possible? I turned synchronization on and then selected which data I want to save. Will you be able to help my with that?

After reinstalling my computer system, I logged into my Firefox account again, but the data synchronization failed. All my previous data is gone, including bookmarks, passwords, and widgets. What happened? I can't find them in the mobile app either.

I have multiple devices all using Firefox with the same account. On one of the devices I swapped the motherboard and since all payment methods in firefox disappeared. Syncing is active across all devices. On all other devices the payment methods are still available.

On the device with the new motherboard, I tried to disable payment methods sync and re-enable it but the payment methods list is still empty. How can I restore all the payment methods on this device? Why they are not syncing?

I have switched from chrome to firefox on my windows 11 laptop. I want to do the same on my pc but after signing into the Mozilla account, the bookmarks do not come in. History, and other things seem to work fine. I tried manually synchronizing in the settings over and over again but nothing works.

I have no idea what to do other than going back to chrome where things just worked and I didn't have to spend hours looking at forums for solutions that do not work...

Hi. I am trying to migrate Firefox from my wife's laptop to her new one, using sync. I've followed the instructions, set up sync on the old one, then set up sync on the new one with the same account. Nothing changes! Where am I going wrong? Or will I have to do a manual transfer instead?

I recently upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11. I was under the impression that my bookmarks would be saved to my Mozilla account and I could then log in on the new computer and the bookmarks would come over also. Is this accurate or will I have to go about recovering my bookmarks a different way?

As of now when I log into Mozilla I get a message at the top saying "The bookmarks and history system will not be functional because one of Firefox's files is in use by another application. I clicked Learn more and tried the troubleshooting options, but no luck in fixing the message or issue. Thanks for your help.
