Hi!

Since most content is in English and search engines always link to the English version, I usually browse the english version of mozilla pages. But here on support in particular I have to contend with the pathetic date format where you can't tell which is day or month or year. So why can't I find a way to set the date format. Even the majority of tiny websites/forums have an option to specify the date format.

Is there a way to prevent a website from automatically redirecting to a different URL? Note that I have found a method that seems to work, but it simply errors out when a website tries to redirect. I'd prefer to _see_ the URL the website is trying to redirect to, and have Firefox ask me for permission before going there.

Is this possible?

Firefox blocking a webpage, even with exemption. When I go to the website I get a quick flash of the page and then it turns white, with a little broken page icon in the top left hand corner. I have exhausted my resources, can anyone help? It seems to work on IE and the website managers say it's not on their end. The webpage specifically: https://shop.peacenaturals.com/#/login

Since one of the recent updates, I cannot identify which one, fire fox continues to display 'requested pop-ups' as tiny popup windows. I have performed the usual disable all ad-ons in Safe Mode and no change. The following only occurs while online with GoDaddy Apache server. The following only occurs with Firefox browser. Edge works fine. On my personal copy of Windows Apache server all works fine. On my personal Windows PC loading the web page with file explorer in FireFox every thing works fine. The script that opens the popup window: <script>

 </script>

Screen captures are included below. The normal size works online with Edge, and offline on my Apache server, but the small popup renders when going online to the GoDaddy Apache server.

Any suggestions will be much appreciated. Website: channelcitiesjazzclub.com (click on the Mission Statement link near the top of the page.

Within the last 10 days my wife's computer has been denied access to a number of sites via the Firefox browser and she receives the Insecure Connection message. She uses the work around using the Advanced path button. We are confused why without any changes to her machine this is happening. She is on an iMAC using OS version 10.7.5 and Firefox 48.0.2 and accesses the internet through an internal network, she has Airport installed and is connected to my iMAC which has OS 10.9.5 and Firefox 78.13, and has never had any difficulties accessing sites or with Firefox. We're aware that our OS versions are outdated but all our applications work well and so we see no need to update. We'd appreciate any suggestions and thank you for your help. Following the last 2 updates, Amazon's webpage does not appear to render correctly. I have checked with Safari (ugh) and Amazon appears normally with that browser. I myself had made no changes other than first one, than the second, update; I did the 2nd update immediately thinking it a fix for the Amazon problem and alas..... I am posting a screenshot as example..

I did attempt a troubleshooting tip a few moments ago from this site which involved choosing "set minimum font size to none" therefore reducing the text to something only readable by ants... Changing the preference to "allow websites to set font size" improved the ant-text, but not a whole lot.

As of yesterday, when I make a line break in a Google Sheet cell,by using Ctrl Enter, the cursor moves down, however when I start typing, it types on the line above. In other words, the cursor no longer is on the new line. It's like the line break made a new empty row in the cell, but the typing continues on the previous line. I have: -re-installed a fresh Firefox, -started Firefox in safe mode, -tried it in Chrome (it works), -restarted, - tried on another, same model, computer (it works) -issue is in all my google sheets

Today, October 9th, Firefox update on my laptop and everything functions well except when I try to use the search pages for either Google or Bing. The pages https://www.google.com/ and https://www.bing.com both load without issue but when I attempt to search for ANYTHING there is just the dot moving left to right in the tab title with no results coming back on either.

All other sites appear to be running and loading fine and the issue seems to be with just the search pages that I mentioned. Both sites work fine with Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge.

The "right click" search google function also has the same results. A blank tab opens with just the left to right dot on the tab title.

How can this be fixed? I don't want to have to go to using a different browser and of course having the ability to search is essential.

Please advise.

When choosing Paypal as payment option on website, the Paypal login page loads. But after entering my login info I just get a continuous circle. Message at bottom is "waiting for c.paypal.com" then nothing happens. Going in again I sometimes get the verification pictures to prove I am not a robot, but then the same thing occurs. I have cleared cache and data, refreshed Firefox, re-entered Paypal login details, checked Firefox is latest version, disabled AntiVirus, checked tracking protection is standard, turned off AdBlocking extension for that page but nothing works. Using Opera browser Paypal opens immediately. So what's the issue here Mozilla? Any fix?

Downloads won't start at all, from wetransfer to any website the popup won't even show up and the download will not start.

I've tried the suggessted solutions and I've come across this:

I restarted my firefox in troubleshoot mode and the problem went away, but it keeps happening in normal browsing. I've turned off hardware acceleration, turned off my extentions (all of them & one by one), I've done the resets in the config page, cleared downloads and cookies, changed theme, everything that is suggested is the problem goes away in troubleshoot mode, but it doesn't work.

Any other suggestions? Ideas?

Lately I've been getting a Capcha popup when I try to visit web sites. Sometimes I get this for several sites in a row. Frankly, this is very annoying. It makes me wonder if I really want to be using Firefox. If I'm going to be annoyed and question my browsing I might as well be using Chrome or Edge.

Is this due to an Add-On I have installed? Is it because I'm using a VPN? Or is it just Firefox trying (and succeeding in) alienating users? While I appreciate most of your efforts to keep me safe online it should be my choice as to whether I use a particular tool or not, so how do I opt out of this Capcha BS?
