This is Firefox 52.0.2 32 bit ESR, Solaris 10U13 Sparc, on a 2.75 GHz. quad core Sparc VII Sun M3000 from a Sun Ray 3 thin client.
ffmpeg, libx264 and libx265 have all been installed from https://www.opencsw.org/get-it/packages/. Flash 11.2 r202 is also installed.
A look at https://www.youtube.com/html5 shows all six boxes under "What does this browser support?" are checked. The box "The HTML5 player is currently used when possible" is also checked.
I can get H264 and AVC1 videos to play but they're all missing the green channel, ie. they come out rendered only in shades of red and blue. This isn't specific to any particular site (like Youtube), it's all videos.
I saw one suggestion to set media.windows-media-foundation.use-nv12-format to false but that didn't fix it. There are lots of posts about things like washed out colors but this isn't like that. It's no green at all.
I don't think this is a libx264 issue because if I download an H264 video and then play it using mplayer, the colors all look fine. It's only when playing video in Firefox that there's no green. Other imaging programs that render color (like Gimp or Inkscape) work fine.
Any ideas?

I use Firefox 65 on Windows 10 computer. Since Feb 9 i used instructions found in Answers to the "How to use userChrome.css to move Tabs to the bottom" Question, to: - adjust height of Address, Bookmarks and Tabs lines - underline Bookmarks and Tabs lines - adjust width of Tabs,
but could not find way to adjust Menu-bar line height.
It would be nice to get instructions about rules and list of commands that can be used how to design userChrome.css file.

Hey, I know this question has been tackled in the past, but I tried following previous guides and none of the code listed in those guides worked with the latest version of firefox (66). I'm a mac user (you guessed it lol) and I wanted to put the "close tab" x button on the left of the tab, and not the right, so that its consistent with the rest of Mac OS.
Does anyone know how to do that, or is there an extension which does this?

My usual hotkey combo to search is <ctrl+t> <tab> <type search string> <enter>. I understand I can replace <tab> with <ctrl+e> to access the searchbar, or that I can <tab> twice - I'm just wondering if there's a way to go back to how it was a few days ago, for muscle-memory-sake?
Addressbar buttons are not customizable via the toolbar customize mode.

recent update caused tabs to revert to top

suffice to say this is rather annoying as changing the "browser.tabs.onTop" setting in the about:config which l originally did doesnt work any more l did find a userchrome.css file as well that said it would do it on this site but alas my tabs are still above the address bar and not below the bookmarks toolbar where l want them. any help to resolve this would be greatly appreciated due to the most recent update causing them to revert back to the top.

The tabs should be connected to the window they pertain to. Can someone please help me figure this out? I'm not a programmer and really don't want to be, but I really can't stand having the tabs at the top. Thanks for any help.

This worked fine until I was stupid enough to update Firefox Quantum to 66.0.1 (64-bit) which, of course, screwed it up.

So basically, my extensions no longer show me anything in the dropdown. See the attached image.
- I am currently on firefox 60.6.1-esr (up to date on debian stable). - I tested this in a new profile (used the profile manager and create a blank test one. I installed noscript and the dropdown window appeared fine. - I reset my about:config by deleting my user.js and the dropdowns work again, however I lose my 1password login and other customizations I need.
What could be causing these not to render properly?

I think this code should work for the new tab icon, however I don't know the name of the new tab icon.

(Yes, I already deleted the names on the bookmarks in my toolbar, I'm way past that for many years now.)

Upgrading FIREFOX to 65.0 is a bit of a problem because TabsToolbar is in titlebar and urlbar is in nav-bar.
Hopefully, urlbar-container can be moved to Tabs Toolbar like a button, which is simple, the previous version(<20.x) is possible.

Hello, For quite a while I was using a custom UserChrome.css that removed minimize\maximize\close buttons from the tab bar. It looked like this:

But after latest update (to Firefox 65 I believe) the app doesn't recognize the code in UserChrome.css.
I understand from Fx 65 change notes there were some changes to how Firefox parses css, isn't it?
What should I do to make UserChrome.css work?
I would appreciate any other method of removing minimize\maximize\close buttons from the tab bar if it isn't doable with UserChrome.css now.
