Greetings, When I try to sign in to SXM, firefox is now asking for a passkey. I don't have a passkey for this account. I'm unable to get past the passkey window. I called SXM support. They have no answers. Any thoughts? Best, Steve

Hello, I am not able to connect to my mozilla account. I write correct my password, and a code is sent to my email. I write to code but always the system gives me the message "Invalid code" or "Something went wrong. Please close this tab and try again."

i recently disabled 2fa and installed a new authentication app: Ente Auth. i keep getting invalid code each time i enter the generated code. i tried both options, scanned the QR code and entered the secret key manually. i used authy with success as my auth. app with firefox but can't use authy anymore. keep having issues setting up 2fa with other auth apps. thanks for any help you can offer. peace, Adrian

I am having trouble setting up Two-step authentication.

After I scan the QR code and enter the code, I am presented with below error: Incorrect two-step authentication code

I first tried scanning the QR code using Microsoft Authenticator app, which did not work. I then tried scanning a new QR codeGoogle Authenticator app, which did not work. I then tried to manually enter the secret key into Google Authenticator app, which also did not work. I then tried scanning another new QR code with the Twilio Authy Authenticator app, which also did not work.

Can anyone help to resolve?

I'm attempting to sync my account between a Windows host and a Linux host. Logging into my account on Linux brings up a "Authorize this sign-in" window that demands entry of a 7-char "Authorization Code" (not the same as a six-digit authentication code) which is emailed to me. After entering the authorization code, a window appears stating "Bad request - Something went wrong. Please close this tab and try again." This happens consistently, and only on the Linux host. Firefox 134.0.2 mint-001 1.0. Linux Mint 22.1. Any ideas about what went wrong?

Just to be extra safe I tried using my account recovery key and it told me it was invalid. I was luckily only testing and am still signed in, so I made a new key, and copy pasted it directly from where I made it, and it still told me the key was invalid.

Hello, I am 70, it is not possible for me to go to my gmail and get a code and retrieve where I have to write the code in 5 minutes. If you have a solution, please tell me how to do that. Otherwise, I will give up.

I'm keep receiving mails to verify my account, when I open the link, it redirects me to my Mozilla account but everything seems to be in order and y don't want my account to be deleted. How am I supposed yo verify it? I have Two-step authentication, the Account recovery key, a Secondary email and I even singed in several devices.

I would like to set up 2-factor authentication but the system DEMANDS I use a QR code. I am using a PC DESKTOP and followed instructions getting a code to my email, but when I tried to "install" the phone number , FF DEMANDED I use a QR code. This is a DESKTOP COMPUTER !!!!!!! not a phone!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How to install 2-factor but NOT use a QR code? Thank you !

I want to be receiving notification like when I reset my password I don't receive the code of resetting a password you know okay a lot like signing in receiving a notification

How can I disable the two factor identification at log in? It's driving me mad. I am 87 years old and don't know how to disable this, Can you help please>

I have "Open tabs in links instead of new windows" checked.

I have no plug-ins that would cause this.

I have experimented with the various, conflicting "about:config" directions given online. (Nothing works, so I have reset about:config to default.)

• It is also worth noting the Firefox Support page is immune to its own Dark mode. WHY.

I am going to switch to Opera, since it has none of these problems.

Before commenting or responding on this post, make sure you actually READ IT first. I am so tired of these online MANSPLAINERS being all, "Go to about:config and do blah-blah-blah," or, "This is what you do: Go to Settings > General > Tabs > make sure you check the box that says "Open tabs in links instead of new windows."

Seriously, way too many people online are like customer support agents on the phone: "Try unplugging it and wait 15 seconds, then plug it back in; try closing it and restarting it."

If anyone has any real solution, I'd greatly appreciate it.

How do i stop having to type in 6 letters when signing in now. This is new and I'd like to stop it for EVERY time I open Firefox. Once a week would be fine! Thanks
