Hello, so I want to set up Two-step authentication. I’ve reached step 3, which involves entering the backup authentication code, but I keep getting an error message that says, "There was a problem confirming your backup authentication code." I’ve already entered all 10 codes provided in step two, but the same error message keeps appearing. Please assist me.

i recently disabled 2fa and installed a new authentication app: Ente Auth. i keep getting invalid code each time i enter the generated code. i tried both options, scanned the QR code and entered the secret key manually. i used authy with success as my auth. app with firefox but can't use authy anymore. keep having issues setting up 2fa with other auth apps. thanks for any help you can offer. peace, Adrian

I am having trouble setting up Two-step authentication.

After I scan the QR code and enter the code, I am presented with below error: Incorrect two-step authentication code

I first tried scanning the QR code using Microsoft Authenticator app, which did not work. I then tried scanning a new QR codeGoogle Authenticator app, which did not work. I then tried to manually enter the secret key into Google Authenticator app, which also did not work. I then tried scanning another new QR code with the Twilio Authy Authenticator app, which also did not work.

Can anyone help to resolve?

Just to be extra safe I tried using my account recovery key and it told me it was invalid. I was luckily only testing and am still signed in, so I made a new key, and copy pasted it directly from where I made it, and it still told me the key was invalid.

Hello, I am 70, it is not possible for me to go to my gmail and get a code and retrieve where I have to write the code in 5 minutes. If you have a solution, please tell me how to do that. Otherwise, I will give up.

I'm keep receiving mails to verify my account, when I open the link, it redirects me to my Mozilla account but everything seems to be in order and y don't want my account to be deleted. How am I supposed yo verify it? I have Two-step authentication, the Account recovery key, a Secondary email and I even singed in several devices.

I have a credibility site associated with my business that I'm not able to view with an internet search from my computer or anyone else’s. I get when searching: Website will not allow Firefox to display the page if another site has embedded it. Can you please help me to unravel this issue so my customers and I can view this credibility site? I'm simultaneously working with the creators of the credibility site and now Mozilla/Firefox, to gain site access, once again. Thank You, Mark

How do i set fire fox to know and sent verification that this computer is the one i have log in to the site before i keep having to verifier it is me every time i log in to the site

My Firefox program completely crashed and would not restart. I had error messages like " couldn't load XPCOM" and "entry point not found", and "awake time".

Reinstalled new Firefox version. At some point it asked for a new password and I put in a new password.

Then it asked for encryption key. I entered it and it said invalid. Can I sign in with the old password and use the encryption key that I know is correct? Or change the password back to the prior password?

Otherwise how can I get to my profile to recover bookmarks and other info?

Please provide step by step instructions.

I received an email saying that someone had signed into my account. I want to secure my account and don't know how? I'm also not sure the email is real and isn't a scam and don't want to click on any email links...

How do i stop having to type in 6 letters when signing in now. This is new and I'd like to stop it for EVERY time I open Firefox. Once a week would be fine! Thanks

This is new mint 22.1 installation. I have firefox running properly on another machine running mint 21. This machine was working correctly with firefox logging in when it was mint21 (firefox synchronised settings on both machines )

I am unable to sign in to mozilla firefox with the top right hamburger menu. When I enter my email address and password it tells me to enter the six digit security code sent to my email but those emails never arrive.

I am not using two factor authentication or pass keys or mobile phone numbers ( I dont understand any of those ).
