I put in my bookmarks under my name and create sub directories for different groupings, like Canadian news, solar etc. The bookmarks within the subgroups stay for a while. I cannot say for how long. Sometimes a day sometimes longer. The bookmarks disappear and are replaced with what I would call the global network symbol. This has never occurred in windows 10 of which I still use. It appears to be an issue with windows 11. Please any help would be useful. It is getting extremely annoying having to replace the bookmarks all the time.

I accidentaly deleted my profile. How can I get back my data, passwords to accounts....Is that all gone now???? Somebaody please help me clarify this situation. And why does firefox insist on these profiles anyway, I just want to open my browser use it then close it, simple. Now since the last update I saw a wierd circle on the firefox launcher and thought it meant nothing. When i deleted the profile literally EVERYTHING is gone. Who does this, what did the profile even help????? Somebody please help

I completed an update on Firefox and all of the passwords I had saved are gone. I have tried checking for alternate profiles, but that did not work. How can I recover my passwords?

Mozilla installed an update and WIPED all my passwords.

Also removed all links on my Firefox screen.

Now sticks the link every site I visit on the Screen!

How do I get them back?

How do I get Mozilla to never do such an asinine act again?

Hi, ok, so my computer just randomly updated my Firefox Browser and now all of my bookmarks, saved passwords, extensions, themes, and history is gone. I used the links on the support website, but they were not helpful at all. I am logged in with the same account I was originally logged in with prior to update 149.0 (logged in with gmail). When I sync data in settings, it automatically imports my Safari and Chrome information (which is not what I want). I try to import my bookmark and password history from the saved HTML and CSV files under Mozilla Firefox, but I don't have the ability to do so, as the files are essentially 'greyed' out. I have tried every step to troubleshoot and every link that is related to my issue listed on Mozilla's support with no success. I have even searched my issue on Google and Reddit. Please help!!

RE: After a Mac re-start; despite, having the 'Startup > Open previous windows and tabs' checked in General page; the Restore Tabs option's in both the Top Menu History, and the Top Right Button Menu > History > Mange History were all greyed out. Even the keyboard shortcut to restore all Tabs > Command-Shift-T > Failed.

This has never happened before with Re-starts.

Am I able to restore all these tabs by accessing my Firefox Profile, and what are the exact steps?

with this new version i lost everything i need to get back to an older version and get all my extentions my bookmarks back all my s desktop items that i had linked to firefox are gone i can no longer get face book or anything back to firefox book marks every thing i had with firefox

My PC bricked. When I signed in to Firefox on another PC, using my account nothing was there. No bookmarks. I was asked to use my recovery key, but it didn’t work. I created a new password. When I signed in on another PC & on my iPhone, my bookmarks were gone. How do I get to my previous settings?

I have enabled the option to open the previous windows and tabs. I had one window that I always closed last as it had a lot of groups that are important for my work, so it used to open every time I started Firefox. Sometimes, even if I closed the window by mistake without closing other windows, I was able to get it back by pressing ctrl+shift+n.

But yesterday, I might have closed it by mistake and when I pressed ctrl+shift+n , it didn't come back. I wasn't able to access my window and now it's all gone. I don't see anything in recently closed windows in history.

I need those tabs back as they are very important for my work. they were a lot of tabs. I had many groups but now all are gone. I tried by using the previous.jsonlz4 in the sessionstore-backup by renaming it in the default-release profile as sesstionstore.jsonlz4 but still wasn't able to access my window.

I didn't clear my history as the tabs opened in the window still show up in the history.

Kindly help as soon as possible

My System Administrator upgraded my Macbook Pro laptop after upgrading from Sequoia to to Tahoe version 26.4. This was a JAMF migration. The reinstalled Firefox does not show my bookmarks, after logging in to Firefox with my username and password. I tried to restore bookmarks but it loaded only a few, from more than a decade ago.
