My local library website has been flagged as a "secure connection failed". I found the information you provide that this error message has no exception to by pass. According to addition information that has been dug into states that prior to today I have visited the website 284 times. Of those 284 times or more I have not had any problem. Although I appreciate your helping me stay secure, I DO NOT appreciate you not allowing me to make the choice to allow you to maintain my security against my wishes. What should I do to access a library that I have been accessing for 20+ years?

After Firefox updated, I can no longer access www.apple.com. This is the error I get now:
Blocked by X-Frame-Options Policy
An error occurred during a connection to idmsa.apple.com.
Firefox prevented this page from loading in this context because the page has an X-Frame-Options policy that disallows it.
Can anyone tell me how to fix this issue as soon as possible. Thank You.

Hi,
I downloaded JDownloader yesterday. It forcefully installed some adware which became the default search engine, can't recall its name and Avast Antivirus. There was no option to uncheck them while installing. Since I didn't like JD at all so I uninstalled them all using Revo Uninstaller. Now while I searched something in the url bar few times that adware's page searched my keywords. I opened my settings and I got this message Your browser is being managed by your organization. PFA. This is my personal laptop connected to my personal wifi. Can I delete everything related to this junk without reinstalling FF? http://www.upl.co/uploads/14291556FF1580471775.jpg http://www.upl.co/uploads/161919FF-11580471781.jpg
Thanks

I have no idea what state is on file as being my state of residence (I move a lot for a civilian), but I've lived at this address for the last three or four years and never had any issue with logging in to my firefox account before. I have plenty of trouble with my location WITHIN the state (Oklahoma), because apparently the only cities that exist in the state are OKC and Tulsa /eyeroll, but I've never had an issue with the state itself being misidentified. I could understand if a VPN was causing the issue, but I'm not using a VPN (I know, I probably should, but imagine the login issue THEN! lol). Thanks in advance for any help.

By using the last version of Firefox (74.0) when visiting a website with security connection I got the following error : "Secure Connection Failed An error occurred during a connection to .............. PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified. Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem." With the previous versions of Firefox there was no such problem and I could visit the above website. So, please inform me what happened with ver. 74.0 ? By ver. 74.0 is no more supported some older security protocols which might have the above website, or this is a bug by the new ver. 74.0 ? Please inform me how this issue can be fixed ?

Hi guys. I tested this recently on notebook with Windows 10. I installed Firefox, sign in to my account, synced everything. Let's say, I need to delete all the data and this account from this particular device. I couldn't find such an option. When I deleted my account from Firefox, all the data left on the notebook! Even when I uninstall the browser, and then install it again - browser restored all the data!!!
Is it possible to delete my sync account and all the data related to it: history, bookmarks, sessions, extensions, add-ons, everything?
Let's say, I'm signed in on a friend's laptop and need to delete everything later.

Hello, I use Firefox 75.0 on an Ubuntu 18.04 system to access CAC enabled (smartcards) US government websites. Generally all works as desired. However, intermittently (couple times a day ---> once every few days) the browser simply, quietly refuses to allow the CAC to login, when I visit a CAC-secured site. A browser dialog is presented and asks for my PIN, but closes without error, yet the PIN is not accepted and the site (correctly) refuses access. In my troubleshooting, I found that if I look at the Security Devices tab under Privacy&Security, the PKCS#11 module shows the CAC as not logged in. If I attempt to log in at that page, I get the usual PIN dialog, but after submission, a new message box appears with the notice that "Log in failed", and I can see that module still says Log out.
It appears that some file lock or related mechanism is in effect and needs to be reset. The only solution I have been able to use is close Firefox completely (all windows), and restart. This works but not desired as I have several different sites I'm active on, and each requires separate logins.
Any suggestions for further troubleshooting would be appreciated. My forays into Google searches all end up as help to get CAC card working, which is not my problem. The card works until Firefox (or something related in the middleware) freezes and the only recourse is to restart.
Cheers, --Jim

I have been trying to save Flash permissions for a website, but every time I visit it Firefox has disabled Flash again. The interface seems to have changed so that there isn’t any way to “Always Allow”. This is a dictionary I will be visiting a lot, so it’s incredibly annoying. How can I fix this?

Hi, I am visiting a site from my favorites and suddenly I am greeted with a red page urging me that this site has dangerous content and I should leave it? Why is that? There is an option to ignore the risk but I want this red screen disabled and not to see it again. How can I disable it and possibly even delete it from my computer?
In the settings I have unchecked this: Deceptive Content and Dangerous Software Protection Block dangerous and deceptive content
but still get the error. How can I disable this stupid page!

I have to sign in to all my programs every time I open Firefox. This just started a few days ago for no reason.
